I’m reasonably confident that Stafford has at least a couple of quality years left in him IF the Rams can protect him at least decently.
Last year was a cluster**** for Stafford.
Never got fully healthy.
Consequently never gelled with AR.
Cohen was a disappointment as an OC.
OL literally imploded starting from first game and didn’t recover until very late in season by which time Stafford had been on IR for weeks.
Jefferson not healthy early.
Only had 2 TE’s on 53.
The Akers drama hampered the running game further. Always a QB killer when running game isn’t respectable.
McVay seemed distracted from game one and made some erratic game time decisions time after time.
Geez…
It seemed like anything that could go wrong DID go wrong around Stafford last year.
But hope springs eternal and there’s nowhere to go but up. I like this 2023 O, on paper at least.
