Did someone say stats?? These are according to PFF. Keep in mind that Shelton played almost twice the number of snaps as Allen (injury).
Shelton ranked 30th of 36 NFL centers. Allen ranked 17th of 36 NFL centers.
Shelton ranked better at pass blocking 71.3 to 59.2. Allen ranked better at run blocking 66.1 to 55.4.
Honestly, I'm not sure why there is such a discrepancy in their overall Center ranking.
