She hasn't been doing this very long has she 43? A few years, tops???
She's been covering football since 2015 and covering pro football since 2016.
How would you expect her material to be different if she had been reporting for 40 years?
So basically she has been "covering" Pro football for 6 whole years. I have underwear older than that! lol
Just messing with you brother! But honestly, 6 years isn't very long so, to be kind, IMO, her "knowledge" is a bit limited. That kind of backs up my point about her "opinions" not really carrying a lot of weight.
Having said that, it doesn't mean she isn't a good reporter, because she is a good reporter. She is well versed. As I said before, I just don't see her as highly as some others do. Basically, only 6 years experience and a front row seat at the press conferences doesn't make her anymore knowledgeable about the NFL, IMO.
As for your question. Well, I would think 40 years would make her one of the most experienced reporters out there and would allow her to see things in a way that someone with less "experience" would. That's how it works. You get better at anything the longer you do it. The more "experience" you have, the more "value" people will put in your "opinions".
Would you rather listen to the opinion of something from a 12 year old child or a 40 year old adult? I would expect with "40 years" experience, most people would be better at what they do than they were when they only had "6 years" experience. Right?
Again, I haven't read anything from her that made me go "wow, what great info" and I do not deny anyone's right to their opinion of her stuff. She IS liked by MANY people.
IMO, she is just another beat writer who may become very good IF she actually stays doing what she is doing. But for now, she just doesn't have the experience to make me feel like her opinions are any better than mine or some of the people here.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
