I hope it goes without saying that this ranking has to do with OTAs and drills when no pads and no hitting were going on.
I can't imagine how one can rank OL or DL in that kind of format, other than perhaps what she saw as far as how the coaches set up the lines as "1's", "2's" and various combos.
Also remember that both Noteboom and Bruss have been at limited participation coming off injuries. So, even less time for them to practice.
That said, I appreciate Jourdan and think she is observant, and has the ability to see what is happening in situations that we don't. She hears the players talking and the coaches reactions. She's sharing what she can.
Personally, I've thought all along that our ideal situation is for Jackson to start at LT and Noteboom to be the swing Tackle. As for the IOL, one spot is locked down with Avila (and it won't be at Center). So that leaves Allen and Shelton fighting for Cen ter and several other guys fighting for the remaining Guard position. I think ideally Allen wins out at Center leaving Shelton as an experienced backup Center and backup OG.
You know Bruss is going to be given every opportunity to start opposite Avila. If he loses out again for whatever reason to someone, then it has to be that Bruss is a bit of a disappointment. Unless of course someone else like Anchrum simply shines; and it wouldn't surprise me if he did.
