I'd add that she also engages in conversations where you can ask your own questions / comments. Not all the time but it's pretty cool when you get the chance.
Finally some of her longer articles goes in depth into "beyond the player or coach". Some of the articles that she's written on McVay, Bobby Wagner, Jalen Ramsey, Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald really go into depth about the person and the impact they've made on others / where they've come from. Phenomenal writing that I really appreciate and takes time to research and write.
I guess that's cool that she "answers" peoples questions "sometimes".
As for writing articles about the person "beyond the player or coach" is pretty cool if that's what you are looking to read.
IMO, any basic reporter can give their "opinions". It's whether or not their "opinions" actually mean anything.
I still haven't heard what qualifications of hers make her opinions so great or better than any other reporters.
IMO, it takes more than just by being "near the players and coaches". The waterboys are around the team even more than Jourdan so I guess that makes their opinions better than hers?
I guess for me, I prefer info from people who actually know the game inside and out. Maybe have played the game for few years or have been around the game for a long time.
Maybe I am more of a "meat and potatoes" guy while Jourdan is just serving "soup". lol
As I said before, I like some of her stuff. I just don't rate her as highly as some others do but don't deny anyone's right to enjoy her work.
Maybe she will grow on me like the new uni's are supposed to. I have been waiting for that to happen for a few years now so I guess I can give Jourdan a little more time to impress me.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
