Killrazor
I remember reading stats last year that pointed out that the running game performed better when Shelton played center over Allen.
This is the closest actual reason why that I've heard yet. Not sure how true it is either but interesting anyway.
It's hard to bash Allen to harshly with the Super Bowl win, but he's an easy target when he's hurt all the time.
Watch Avila win the position over them both, lol!
Nice post Killrazor! I could actually see that happening by the end of the season!!! And you called it first!
I think most would agree that Shelton is better as a run blocker but we all know how McVay feels about the run game. It's secondary to the passing game.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
