I thought of Green pretty much as a savior. Winning a SB I really didn't think about.... but I felt sure Green would the Ram's back into the 'elites'... a contender as long as he was with the Rams. When he went down my hopes of a league championship game, possible a SB appearance, were pretty much dashed.... BUT...
Because of my knowledge of Warner, having seen him often, I did think the Ram's would be back to winning seasons. And coming out of the 90's a 'winning season' was one GREAT feeling.
I thought I remember reading reports that Warner didn't look too good in GB. He was shy and lacked confidence. Is that would you remember too James?
At what point would you say things "clicked" for him?
I felt like Ike Bruce when he saw that Green's knee was hurt. You could feel the emotion coming through the tv from Ike. It was unreal how much hurt Rams fans felt at that moment and a few might have even wanted to do "nasty" things to Mr. Harrison!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
