I'd like to see a display at SOFI that honors the Rams tradition and great players all the way back to their beginnings. We'll always associate names with the numbers. History, beyond the memory of the current generation, needs to be preserved. If somebody else wore the number before or after, so what?
Doesn't look right - yet - to see Bennett in #13, but in a way, and Bennett must know this, every time some of us see that number we'll remember Kurt. He's keeping the memory alive or we wouldn't be having this diccussion.
I hope he proves to be "that guy" who picks up the torch and runs with it and adds his own chapters to the 13 tradition when Matt Stafford leaves the game.
