Stuff I remember about first joining the board..

When I first joined, I selected the option to get email notifications of new posts.. I wasn't familiar with the board, so thought "heck yeah - let me know when there's a new post..!"..

So, my mailbox BLOWS UP with 75 notifications right off the bat, which was no easy issue because that was the 56K modem days and it took a half hour to open each email.. I pm'd Ramsrule to take me off the notifications option and replied, laughing, he knew it was only a matter of time before I'd want out..

My other memory was of Jack Miller posting TONS of uncompressed photos which took FOREVER to load on a 56K modem, but once you clicked the post, back then, you were committed to opening it, which could take up to ten minutes, depending on how many photos he posted.. I sent Jack a pm BEGGING him to compress his photos or just email them to me and I'D compress them.. I never heard back..

At that time I thought 100% Jack was one of the brothers.. then he posted a video of himself on some fan forum, or something and golly gee was I shocked to see what he looked like.. No offense intended.. it was funny at the time..
