I don't think the "scheme" helped him much and that would be 100% on Morris.
I don't think you're saying that Morris should have changed his scheme to take advantage of Rapp's skill set.
And I hope your not saying that Morris should have taken BWagz or Ernerst Jones off the field so he could leverage Rapp's box safety skills.
But after eliminating those two possibilities I'm at a loss to even speculate so I'll ask: what do you mean by that?!?
What pleasant way to disagree with someone's opinion. Now THAT is how you do it without getting all personal with name calling and insulting people. It's like a breath of fresh air! lol Thank you!
I am not sure what could've been done but I am not the DC so it isn't really up to me to figure out how to use Rapp correctly. That would be Morris.
I am pretty sure I have seen many other people also say Rapp wasn't being played to his strengths enough so I know I am not the first to say that. If we search this board and others, I am sure you will see others agreed.
Anyway, what would be wrong with changing the "scheme"? We had 3 HOF'ers on that unit AlbaNY. Do you think they wouldn't have been as successful in anything other than that Ultra Soft Shell?
Do you think we would have been worse than a "middle of the pack" D if we did? If so, would it really have mattered during a lost season anyway?
Last season would have been a good time to try new things. The season was lost. We had nothing to lose by experimenting with the "scheme".
Of course, this is all just MY opinion. It doesn't mean I am right, but it also doesn't mean I am wrong.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
