Both Rapp and Scott are good, solid SS types. But if you put them in situations where they need to think and anticipate in the pass game they're meatheads.
If we assume that the Rams get Fuller back in full health this season then they need one safety who can play split field and if he's got film making quick decisions in a pairing with a corner out on the edge even better because our defense will require that in the base Cover 4 calls and more.
I've been critical of Morris but am more than willing to give him cred that he was working with some subpar parts at safety. So I have to think this offseason he does a better job ensuring things are stacked back there with better options.
