What happens on the NFL is scheme teaching and the specific keys, techniques specific
to that scheme.

It's not like college or high school like you run drills on tackling or backpedaling and
all that. Colleges are way past that.

Had a conversation with a former Ram great who coached in the NFL and who is a scout
currently in the NFL. And he educated me on this.

Of course, there are some (not you) who have an agenda and refuse to learn. Not a good
way to understand things, but hey, some like to stay in ignorance.

Reps are what matters, and that is what is done on the NFL. Seeing what the offense is doing
seeing what the defense is doing and do as much 7-on-7 as you can at high speed to hone
reaction time.

The position coaches are responsible for getting the scheme right. Are there corrections?
Of course. A tip on body placement on a certain block. Or hay, "you're ducking your head".

None of us know enough to comment on the NFL level, it's just not what we did in high
school or college.

If a particular guy is raw, then he would, of course, get extra work, learn from the vets,
get extra reps after practice, work with the position coach to correct bad habits. But
if a guy has too many of those or cannot correct them quickly he's cut.

So, sorry for all that, but some people need to learn this and not exaggerate or
misrepresent things. They do so intentionally to push an agenda. But
if they'd actually look at a diagram once in a while, they could at least take
a step in the right direction. And that would be a good thing.
