Isn’t a love for football high on Snead’s list when considering draft picks?
I would think that questionable love for football by Long would have been a deal breaker in the trade talks and Snead would have insisted on another player.
Was it McVay who insisted the Phins throw him in? Was Snead the one who liked him and insisted? Or was this kid the only player the Phins would toss in?
I could see the Snead/McVay thinking, "we just can't let him go for a 3rd can we? Maybe it will look better if they throw in some scrub player too!"
Maybe someone sees "potential" that nobody else has yet. It's a "given" he will be a "starter", isn't it???
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
