Right on, my thoughts exactly. On top of that Snead did what his owner wanted him to do which was to bring the Rams to and win the Super Bowl in Stans NEW STATE OF ART stadium for the whole world to see.
It didn't come cheap and it wouldn't have come at all without Snead's trades and spending to get Jalen Ramsey, Stafford, Von Miller and OBJ. Some chicken little fans and finger pointers look at and blame Snead for what's happening as if he somehow failed. They refuse to see fact that he did'n't fail, he achieved exactly what he set out to do and what Stan Kroene wanted, bringing home that super bowl banner. At great cost as we now see. Did we make missteps and overpay some players and overlook the rest of roster? Sure but they cant ever take away our super bowl win! It has to be paid for sometime and Rams Heirarchy have decided this is year . Get over it. Pointing fingers and looking for someone to blame is counterproductive as well as divisive.
We have had a great 5 year run and I have confidence that Snead and McVay will find innovative ways to get us back sooner rather than later. Looking forward to off season, draft, next year and especially 2024. I believe we will find a way to be competitive and entertaining, sooner rather than later.
