The stats might look good on paper but it does not change the fact that the Rams wanted a CB to SHUT DOWN receivers. Any CB can play the zones we saw last season.
.
and that is fine--yours is a fair and normal reaction.
But no, any CB cannot play zones, like you say. The proof is watch the games. There are team
FAR worse than the Rams and they play zone.
There are teams that play a lot of man, and they are worse than the Rams.
And there are teams that play both better than the Rams
But there not these mythical shutdown CBs everywhere like you suggest
They do not exists in any kind of numbers. There maybe 3-4 in NFL at any given time---if that.
I just think you are mistaken as to what Ramsey is good at.
he is not what he was in Jacksonville. And it was like that under Staley
not just Morris.
But you are not one of the ones who is a problem. You are reasonable
and acting like a normal person. All of us were frustrated atthe Tampa
game. It was bad.
But the haters, and they can try and deny it, but it's true, blow it out of
proportion and do it out of ignorance.
You don't fit that mold.
Problem is there are a few others who are haters and won't own it.
They think if someone else has a fair critcism of the scheme or Morris
that it means I think that person is a hater.
A hater is a hater.
A person like you or Everett...reasonable people and reasonable
people can disagree.
Reasonable people don't want someone fired after eight games
and question a man's stones and smarts. Haters do that.
That is the difference.
