Rams had him on a favorable contract that would have kept him around but he got it in his head he was more than the system that properly utilized his skills. Now he's had a nice dose of reality I think. The guy really fits here but he's of that age where his quicks aren't getting any better. Good thing is if he gets cut by Tennessee I am sure he'll consider a contract like he was on before and he can be happy and productive here.
So I'm hopeful but then again players get stupid. Some idiot franchise like the Browns might offer him enough on top of the Rams to get him to sign for another year or two of misery elsewhere. But maybe he returns, that would be cool.
Only real issue is we need more speed at wideout. It's a problem for us and Woody doesn't change that, he just fills up the depth chart with more wideouts that lack it.
