Was it was a pretty exciting game.. when the Eagles tied it with the 2 point conversion and both teams had 2 TOs left and 4-5 minutes I was thinking we were in for an exciting finish.. and we WERE headed for an exciting finish.. Eagles had just stopped them and limited them to a FG attempt with - what - a minute and a half left? Pretty exciting..
..and then here comes the flag.. I'll never forget the air being let out of my balloon faster than the balloons that just got shot down over the US.. But it was that feeling of total disappointment that this game was headed toward being one of the all-time GREAT Super Bowls.. and it was taken away on a needless flag.. Not only was the excitement GONE, but it made me doubt the legitimacy of that being a fair game.. and whether the NFL is rigged, or not..
I think a LOT of people felt that way.. Time ran out and even the Chiefs weren't jumping up and down the way we were last year, after legitimately winning the game.. People can bring up the Kupp hold, but to make it an apples to apples comparison, we would have had to be able to run out the clock, then score the winning points, never giving the Bengals an opportunity to tie to take the lead..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
