I disagree. Aside from Alaric Jackson & Shelton, no one of our O-line can dominate the LOS. And Jackson & Shelton are questionable too. Why would we want to continue with subpar athletes in such a critical area? Nothing short of a talent/strength transfusion is going to rectify the situation, IMO. Now, there's many ways to skin the cat there, but to fix the problem, you have to acknowledge the problem. The problem isn't that they were injured. The problem is that they all get their @sses kicked at the LOS way too often.

We can't replace everyone. Some of those guys are going to have to be retained. Who you letting go and who you keeping?

Okay, let's start with the low hanging fruit. You keep Jackson, and Shelton, and probably Bruss- for no other reason than the verdict is still possibly out on him. Make a run at Saffold ,(Even though he's declining),& cut Edwards. Cut Allen. Draft Schmidt.
(My concern is that our scouts either can't discern dominant olineman, or McVay overrides them. Both situations need to end now.
Find a trade partner for Havs, even for a low round pick. Booms insane contract makes him difficult to move, so we may have to keep him as a (soft & grossly overpaid) backup. Package lower picks & move up to get the best physical tackle available.
From left to right;

A.Jackson - Saffold - Schmidt - Shelton - TBA

It's a start

There’s no ‘probably’ to keeping Bruss. You don’t release a 3rd rounder after one camp including a season ending injury. You just don’t.

Saffold is done. I wouldn’t touch him now.

Trade Hav? Why create another hole on OL you’re trying to fix?

Those lower picks you want to package for a more ‘physical’ LOT will be needed for the following:

Edge
CB
RB
TE
S

Among others…

Best compromise starting OL is as follows, imo:

Jackson
FA or draft pick
Draft pick if one falls or Shelton
Anchrum, Bruss, or Brewer
Hav

The End

43, as much as I love your posts, I gotta disagree. Even on his worst day, Saffold does not get pushed into the backfield. Havs does.
I don't disagree with your opinion on the need for an edge, or corner, but I think you can improve what we have by making Donald more effective. What I mean by that, is moving our corners closer to the LOS, and hopefully taking away the short underneath passing, A.k.a. the death by 1000 cuts that Morris seems to champion.

Prioritizing the offensive side of the ball (Oline specific), and restoring our offense to its former glory, takes a lot of pressure off the defense, and makes them even more effective. Even with the shortcomings in our secondary and edge positions.

What I'd like to see the Rams oline become is more like the Eagles, on third or fourth down, and one yard to go. They're going to push you back, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. That's what we need. Everything else, IMO, is academic.
