Once again, this whole discussion is putting the cart in front of the horse. We are still hiring coaches. Need to finish that first. Then, we need to figure out our cap situation. Can't start by being over. After we restructure or cut the higher priced players we can then maybe target a FA or two. We will probably start by re-signing our own priority FAs first...Gaines, Gay, Scott. We will then, have some sort of idea where the true holes are right before the draft.
Then, we can discuss who might be available, who we want and then we can all meet scream about them picking guys we've never heard about. After that, there's the whole UFAs and we'll scoop up a bunch of those. And after that we might sign more of the FAs who are still unsigned. A whole bunch of stuff.
