Raheem getting interviews every year must mean he's pretty respected, right ?
Morris had only 1(?) int request last year after winning the SB. Only 2 requests this year. That says a lot about how he is viewed or at the very least what he is "perceived" to be good at...coordinating, by the rest of the league.
Last year he was passed over for people who had NO prior HC experience at all. They were willing to give the control of the team to someone who has "never" done it before. That says a LOT. These owners are willing to give the "keys" to their billion dollar investment to unproven, inexperienced coaches BEFORE they would offer them to Morris. What does that say to you?
One team even chose Nathaniel Hackett over Morris!
I think the league "respects" Morris. They obviously just don't "respect" or "like" him enough to make him their HC. Maybe he gets another shot one day. Maybe he deserves it. IDK.
I like the guy as a person and like him as a DC. I just am not thrilled with his scheme or his ability to adjust game plans on the fly or even his ability to play the right players at the right position. It could also be argued that he hasn't really "developed" players very well either. But mostly, I dislike the Charmin Shell that he continues to roll out there and rarely deviates from.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
