He ran at least one route downfield... as a decoy probably... and then he got the pass that he evidently was expecting to be on his right shoulder... They are finding a use for him and IMO it appears they are slowly trying to work him into the offense more.
That said, I'm not going to concern myself too much with a player that won't be here next year. I hope he keeps his mistakes to a minimum and makes a contribution. And the better he is the better the offense will be... and IF the Rams can trade him then great.
IMO, he isn't significantly affecting the team in a negative way on the field. And he will be less of a cap hit after the trade or his release. The Rams probably can't do anything about his salary now. I don't see an issue with him.
