It was merely one of many examples of backs that routinely faced a stacked box.
There are others that did/do a much better job of breaking a tackle at the los, making a player miss or being patient with his blocks.
Btw SJ had 8 EIGHT straight 1000 yard seasons and avg over 4 ypc in his career as a Ram
That's a lot more than "getting the tough yards"
