So far 4 for 4, and I said in a post Friday night to go get Verse's teammate Fiske and they did, so I'm pretty happy. Kinchens was a top 1 or 2 SAF before testing, and I had him at the end of round 3, thrilled with this pick. Corum had better tape last year, but I had read or heard that he was injured or dinged up for most of the season this year. So he could be a real steal. Like that pick. QuoteDeadpool My 2024 Big Board I'll keep the Rams pick in red, delete who is gone. 15. Jared Verse - EDGE - FSU - 6'-4" 254 lbs. - Twitched up, speed to power merchant that can really apply pressure to OL early in the rep. Solid setting an edge as well. 35. Braden Fiske - IDL - FSU - 6'-5" 292 lbs. - Good athlete that is a super smooth mover, big time motor and quick.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I had him about 10 guys or so off my 220, so he was sitting in late round 6 early round 7 range. Good call on your part. As expected.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I was thinking the same thing myself. New KO rules are really going to effect the last day of the draft.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
And posted below in a much smaller blurb. I wonder how his sack production will translate to the next level. Bull rush after bull rush won't get it done against pro OTs.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
He was just outside my 220. I love his motor. If you watch WSU on defense, he is in the frame when the tackle is made every single time. He hustles to the ball, never gives up on a play. He lacks pass rush tools outside of just a raw power bull rush, but he does convert speed to power and can simply overwhelm a OT. He was a 43 DE, so not sure the fit, but Shula must have a plan. So I'm goodby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

but he kinda overlaps Turner. Everyone can forget Sweat, he isn't what the Rams like in DL, and after The whole Stetson thing, you want to touch a party animal, dui guy? he's off thier board. As far as fits, I'd ask YB53, but Jenkins and Fiske are better fits than Newton.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd be willing to trade up for Fiske and DeJean. Stay put for the other 2. These guys all make too much sense to me to be taken by the Rams, but hey, they did take Verse. I still love Kris Jenkins' game. Not sure on fit, but play style, motor all fit.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
My 2024 Big Board I'll keep the Rams pick in red, delete who is gone. Not bad, I had 26 of my top 32 go in the first. Penix and Nix were over-drafted, but we all knew this was coming, Legette had a promise to be picked @ 33 by Carolina, apparently they didn't want to wait and moved up 1 spot to secure him. Pearsall was a bit shocking IMO, Guyton was 33 so not really a miss either and Morgan waby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Not a bad night for me. I had Verse at #7 and my top six were all gone by pick 19. So my top prospect remaining was their top prospect remaining. I value your opinion on fits and defenses more than anyone. I love him personally.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Jared Verse, FSU - Shocked he didn't come out, he had to have had a 1st round grade. Played for Albany, then transferred to FSU, so maybe he wanted 2 years of production at a high end school 6'-4" 250 lbs of relentlessness. In the run and pass game. she asked who the Rams were picking, I said, they are trading down or out. if they stay put, it's Verse, Chop or Fautanu. I actually had Verse as a top 10 pick last year, but he came back. speed to power, first one off the bus type. Now go get his Teammate tomorrow.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm gonna put the guys in red that I like for the Rams outside of the top 32. So my favorites for day 2. Quotealyoshamucci If you've seen my positional posts, you know how I scout ... on new rims I saw in the tire store showroom. That's a win-win. And yes, I have actually done that, as has my fiance lol. it's called the cake and eat it too scenario. Or in this case, trade up and get Odunze, grab a stud edge defender in round 2.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesince68 Thank you for all your work. It is an awesome list. Assuming Caleb, Maye, Daniels, JJ, Alt, MH Jr, Odunze, Bowers and Malik have been taken . . . . . . and you are going to trade up to #10, name the top 3 players you would go after . . . or would you stay & pick at 19 . . . or trade back? I am pretty much in the middle of everything farm related right now, so this might be my last bit of "cough" wisdom "cough" I'll go in order by round unless I forget something. 1. First Round a) I believe the Rams should go defense, and specifically an EDGE defender. My #1 is Latu on my board and he makes the most sense. He's a big back, but not physical. Secondly, I question his instincts or vision. 1 of those things is off. Lastly, I have Akers PTSD. lol He has breakaway speed, excellent balance and good patience. He is still a good back in a OK at best class, I just didn't feel he was a Rams fit. So the Rams probably draft him in round 3.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Go watch the Auburn v Georgia game this year. No Bowers, no Georgia win. And AU has 2 DBs and a Safety in the draft. He can absolutely wreck a defensive game plan. Kyle Pitts comes close, but its Bowers in the end. He also at least tries to block, Pitts was or never will be a blocker IMO.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Latu gives off TJ Watt vibes. Now I'm not saying he is TJ Watt, but athletically they compare almost identically. 2nd, Latu's advanced pass rush moves gives him an immediate advantage over every edge in the class. College OL had no idea what was going to happen next, they were on the defensive constantly. Lastly, look at Verse's season, like really look at it. He played 13 games last yearby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Xavier Legette tops the group, he is a great KR, but I think he goes at the top of the 2nd, so a trade up scenario. He is a #2 with #1 potential as well with great size and physicality. Rumor has it Carolina promised to take him at 33. So yeah... Ainias Smith and Malik Washington are in that draft range you like (3rd round) and are both excellent returners, but are smaller in stature and not #by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
some posters wanted this board and I thought I would give it a shot. Basically what happens with an NFL stacked draft board, scouts, coaches and the FO get together and go through players and 1st stack them by position (which I did) then overall regardless of position (which I also did) then they shave off names that don't fit. Then they stack according to need and depth of class and obviously talby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
