2nd, Latu's advanced pass rush moves gives him an immediate advantage over every edge in the class. College OL had no idea what was going to happen next, they were on the defensive constantly.
Lastly, look at Verse's season, like really look at it. He played 13 games last year and accumulated 8.5 of his 9 sacks in 4 games. 0.5 in a 5th and nothing across 8 other games. He runs hot and cold.
I love Verse, I think he is more of a 43 DE than a 34 EDGE. But if the Rams think otherwise, I'm good with either. Latu, health questions aside, is a rare kid. His drive to just not to come back and play football again, but to be the best, is insane to me.
