without a Stafford at QB.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Injury should play ZERO concern. I don't care what the board says is 'must'... to hell with that, he's a player or he's not. Save him for WHAT? If he can't play he can't play.. hurt or not.by JamesJM - Game Time Forum
The Ram's are now geared for Brady and Rodgers... wherever they go.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Well said. This next is in general, I know little of the specifics. Yesterday before practice a team meeting was held which included the school psychologist. I don't know all of what was said but I assume this was specifically to address the issue you brought up. I know that the issue of alcohol was discussed at this meeting; and I would imagine because it was unavoidable. The coacheby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
certainly not in the media... but maybe a few fans see beyond Stafford vs Goff? I'm being sarcastic. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously I can't speak for all of them... and I'm sure some were close to him. However, I am aware of more than a few that were not happy with him.... late for practice, missing team dinners. He angered many recently when after a loss to the school he previously coached he said nothing to our players and instead went over to the other team to speak with them... then later than night making sevby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

He was hired last year.... the Covid cancelled season but later played, in part, this last spring. The Youth program is very good. HS has been the problem. Lot of small town politics. The firing of the previous coach was fraught with in-fighting. The coach before that died in the middle of the season, cancer... he was very good and very well respected. So we're not having a good runby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Alcohol. Showed up at several practices and games this year under the influence.... yesterday he was apparently obliterated. It was the players and asst. coaches that reported it.. and by what I heard it was all of them that reported it. He resigned. I hear he has admitted his problem and willingness to seek treatment. I wish him well... but it still aggravates me. Especially for the Seby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

but there are a few teachers who do coach more than one sport. Our best coach was promoted to Athletic Director so she can no longer coach. But she's great, IMHO... and she's exactly what Kerman needed. She is immune to home town politics, nepotism. :laughing This incident she's been on top of for weeks now and when proof finally presented itself she acted instantly... in fact, within aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and I do not see how that is possible... he lost his teaching job as well. Here you have to be teacher to Head Coach UNLESS... none are willing to take the job. If that happens, (and it just did, to our basketball team), then anyone from the community can step in... however, once an employed teacher decides to take the HC job he or she is instantly promoted to HC and the non-teacher is releasby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Canada... sorry, I probably led everyone to think 1 thing. Yes, impairment is involved... but of what type? I do not know "for sure". Mental? It could be. did it effect the W/L record? Hard to say... we don't have a very good team. But... players were disillusioned, parents were questioning other parents on whether or not they should allow their kids on the field. And it's not that we're 1-7, although that's bad enough. We'll finish the year with a replacement HC... and no, the 1-7 record is not the reason. I don't know all the details... I can say the 'rumors' have been around since preseason; and at practice yesterday came the final straw. Thru the year missed practices, missed team dinners, odd behavior. have mastered the talent of springing a surprise ending to your posts. :laughing No, I didn't notice that. I would say yes, that's reason for concern... but I'd stop short of saying it's a major concern. To me that's a 2 minute meeting in McVay's office. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

With the more than obvious statement that he didn't look good when he came in. Like you said, he looked worse. However. last time he had some preparation. Not a lot... but IMHO even a 'little' is a 'lot'. And then there is this... in the Az game, which you and others feel he sucked at, (not me, although I certainly don't think he looked great), I think fans are going to be hard pressed toby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Against the top teams that could and most likely will be the difference. You can't give up a quarter+ to Arizona... or GB, or Dallas, or TB... or for that matter the next tier of teams down. McVay is absolutely right being concerned about it. Even with D progress if they can't get the O into all 4 quarters things could get very tough.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Wasn't that a very bad thing to do if he was indeed hiding? I'm pretty sure Stafford knew the situation.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

I don't have the talent. I am almost 100% reliant on others to cook for me. My son is a great cook. It just comes natural for him... sounds like for you too? I wish to hell I could but God's purpose for me lies elsewhere.... like being really really really good at complimenting other's cooking. I like the flavor Dill... BUT... not on anything other than pickles. :laughing The reason why is that Dill is so strong for me that it literally kills the flavor of anything it comes in contact with. If Dill is included I can't taste anything else... so it's a great taste, love it, but I don't want it included on other foods. I have a friend who is like that but with onions.
