while obviously there isn't much of one. :laughing never the less it makes a lot more sense to me than the Goff vs Stafford comparison which I'm burned out on... not to mention that while Goff vs Stafford may have some worth in analyzing McVay, Snead, et all and they're ability to make the right decision it has absolutely NOTHING to do with this year and winning games and making the playoffs anby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But looking beyond that the 'errors', which takes many forms and not just errant throws, this very thing has also pointed out one incredibly great talent Stafford possesses, at least IMHO it has - - It doesn't get to him. He moves on. He doesn't get cold feet. THAT is a rare QB Talent. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
To actually keep looking away when the pass is made? Haven't the eyes/head position already done it's thing? I'm not trying to be contrarian on this issue... I mean yeah, no doubt, looking off the intended receiver has and always will be one of a QB's most valuable tools That's a given. I'm just not convinced that the pretense has to continue through the throwing motion. It's certainby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
At this time one of my grandson's has an Indian girlfriend who's mother is an accomplished chef. She is always sending me naan, samosa's, etc... and it is to die for. Unfortunately I cannot recall what it actually looked like... that could be it. Their gravy was different as well... brown gravy but not like any brown gravy I've ever had here.... same look different flavor. What amazed me the most about German food in Germany was the consistency across the entire country... although I was not often in far northern Germany but the rest of the country tby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
That Perkins is an unknown is a 'duh'.... but what's important to me is that he appeared to me to definitely warrant a close look... lot of coaching, spend time with him, see what he's got.... in practice, of course.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
that it took a no-look. Of course I'd have to see a 'full field view' of the play... every player, to know for sure. It's one thing to just 'say' the no-look caused it all... it's another to actually prove it. Lot of things could have frozen the LB's other than Stafford head. And note: I'm not saying it did NOT take the no-look, just saying I'm not completely convinced of that.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
No-looks don't impress me much. I mean yes, the skill to do so is impressive but the value of it? I'm not so sure. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
It's one of the reasons why I like end zone seats when at games. Field of vision. You can see the plays develop. You can get a very good perspective of what the QB is, or is not, reading and reacting too. You can see the 'ball' itself better on TV, a LOT better... everything else? I think live wins hands down. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
It wasn't denial of Kupp, exactly anyway.. it was the fact that he was a 'slot'... therefore #3 by default. I was part of those conversations and questioned why 'slot' was deemed 'less'... I didn't think that was true... even though it probably does work out that way for many if not most teams. I had a big awakening regarding receivers when my grandson played WR in college and I learned morby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
When I lived in Germany this was my staple. Came with Pommes Frites and salad. The Schnitzel and Frites covered in gravy... not smothered in gravy. This was the same in every restaurant I ever went to in Germany... always exactly the same, always delicious. But wanted to mention the salad. They used some spice? on their salad that had a flavor I had never tasted before. Loved it... but Iby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

the last time I checked the running clock is only used if the losing team agrees; it's their option. The 35pt rule is not set in stone.... for obvious reason. Sometimes you can put in your third string, or your opponent can do so, and scoring continues. And i think all coaches agree you don't put a kid into a game and tell them to 'back off'. Normally it's simply putting in third stringeby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Not sure why, age? But these days I find that I use very few condiments on anything. Of course when I have my weekly Bologna and Cheese sandwich I do... mayo and mustard, gotta have it. I seldom us catsup on fries these days. I never add steak sauce to steak. I never did add anything to eggs... when I see people smother their eggs in catsup I do not get it. :laughing German food... veby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I mean, I see Stafford asked about it all the time... and rightfully so, love hearing it... but seems to me no Ram is higher than Ramsey right now.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
By managing thusly aren't they actually artificially creating the 'data'? They have no 'alternative' set of data to base the call on... unless they are using data from a bygone era. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Is Pitcher relief. I get matchups, like a lefty against a lefty and so on.... but at the same time if a pitcher is "on" the quickness they'll replace him these days is strange to me. I'm also leery of pitch counts as the determining factor. Yes, I get saving a pitcher's arm... but in any given situation I don't see that one pitch, or even several, should be the 'decision maker' iby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Can't remember which grade I was in... probably 6th? Remember shooting rubber bands with your finger? We had a contest shooting and killing flies. We kept the fly corpses for an entire school year then tallied them up on the last day of school before summer vacation. I WON! Apparently your reflexes and hand/eye coordination are still keen... mine, however, are not what they used to be. I used to be able to catch them by hand, very high % of the time..... today no. But yes... I would think it's a big game everywhere. Doesn't this one seem at have that 'added' touch of drama, however? I know with the big time fans, like yourself, 21Dog, they ALL have that something extra but it just 'seems' to me that this one has captured everyone's attention. Two Goliath's crashing head to head. To figure out how a Fly knows when you're holding a Fly Swatter? I wonder if any grant money is available for such a study. Seems like this should be a grant request that would face zero opposition because, as we all know... it's established FACT that flies do know when you're holding a swatter. Is as big of a match-up as I've ever seen. Not sure a World Series game in the last few years has matched this expectation. Of course I'm in Calif... so across the USA I very much doubt it's that big of a deal.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
