Like Craig Matson said, he has had some drop issues at his institute of backwards learning. But it's cool that you keyed on that play. He does look very smooth in his catches. Isaac Bruce-like, in fact. I had a fairly in-depth conversation with Matt Waldman back before the draft, and he had nothing but high praise for Thomas. Quotelaram Yeah I'm sure we can trust that a player is being totally candid with a member of the media! LOL That's probably the funniest thing I've heard in awhile. Quotelaram How does that align with YOUR interpretation of what it means? I couldn't begin to answer that question. I trust my sources, always have. They have NEVER been wrong. Well, anonymous name-dropping aside, it doesn't matter what MY interpretation of it is. I quoted directly from a Team Captain who was there, and another (Wyche) who had access to more players. What Wyche and Ogletree actually said about it. So to correct some of the issues at the heart of Monday night's defeat, the Rams held a players-only meeting on Saturday night in an effort to unify team objectives, trust and focus ahead of Sunday's 9-3 victory, NFL Network's Steve Wyche reported. According to linebacker and team captain Alec Ogletree, the meeting was called by team leadersby -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam49 Is that on the WR too? He missed Britt for a wide open bomb......he had three steps on the DB....and it was the second time he missed massively on a deep throw in two weeks. He explained it by saying "Kenny quit on the post."by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold Quotezn Keenum didn't decide anything. He's not calling plays, he's going to built-in options depending on the defensive look. All he did was see one on one outside and the audible was just a built in response to that. . makes no sense. no one said he was calling plays. he made a change and that change, or what you call a built in option IS a decision. Quotedodgerram We heard fisher and Keenum Would be interesting to hear Quicks side of the play Go Rams! Yeah. He said it was a miscommunication. I've marked the very moment Keenum gives the audible and you can clearly see Quick looking that way. How there was any miscommunication is beyond me. Hell, even *I* knew the play was changed.by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
You're too hung up on the literal. I didn't actually *believe* that he would fire Fisher after the pick. I was making light of the comment that he should have been fired FOR making the pick. "Get real"? lol. Good to see you too, hammer.by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and GoldWell, in a way the slow down fooled the S, just a hair, but sure, he slowed...and I wouldn't put all picks on Case. BTW, this was just and incl. l can answer your argument with a video. You know, video proof that he pancakes and can pass block. But you'll reject that because it doesn't show all 2300+ of his snaps since he was drafted. I've played this game with you before. You're right 100% of the time Even when you're not. I said he wasn't dominant. You said he *can't* pass block. Wanna see it, or no?by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com

He can pass block - quite effectively at times. That's where you're wrong. He's not dominant, so I understand the frustration. But I reject your absolutes. Will that be the end of this difference of opinion? I doubt it.by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotewv ramMy own opinion is that he's an odd one. Hard to paint in black and white terms. He's been good, he's been bad. He's been the 'best of times, he's been the worst of times'. Ya know. Quote9er8er That should be obvious by now. In today's NFL drafting a franchise LOT that can't pass protect #2 overall is gross negligence and malpractice. You can find road graters that can't pass protect at that position at far better value than second overall. Quotelaram Quote-X- That's not how that works. You're talking about a pre-snap audible to the route. Quote9er8er To be a mauler, not a pass protector, that by itself is a fire-able offense. Maybe. Maybe not. If it was a fireable offense, Kroenke would have fired him immediately after the pick. But I sense you weren't being literal. I have a video somewhere of him making extraordinary blocks (and pancakes). I'll see if I can find it.by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
He'll be fine. They drafted him to be a mauler. Not to pass protect against JPP 53 times in a game. If they can ever get the run game on track again, he'll continue to be effective in that role. Road grading and selling the play-action. Maybe he wasn't worth taking as high (that's subjective), but he's far from a liability, IMO.by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 BTW, anybody that gets All 22... Could you please check and see how many opportunities downfield that Keenum is not seeing? Thanks in advance. I suspect that it's more than a few. I don't know why he would. Sometimes players do that. We see it on plays where the play isn't on their side, and Owens used to do that a lot. That said, you have to be operating under the assumption that the QB might see something in the coverage that he likes and he'll target you anyway. There was a lot of discussion about that play right after it happened, and several people rewound the gamby -X- - RamsFootballFans.com

Nah. On a sight adjustment (which that likely was), there is no set drop & throw rule. Britt ran the first half of that route with the idea that he wasn't part of the play. He ran the second half of the route realizing that he was.by -X- - RamsFootballFans.com
