To my eyes it looks like between the money coming in and the bonus that would need to be paid back, AD has 75 million in the balance over the next three seasons. Combine that contract reality with the work ethic AD's dad instilled in him by getting him up every morning at 4:30 AM to lift weights in the basement starting at the age of 12, along with AD's age (being 31, 32 and 33) and it just seemsby Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com

Family planning- if you want two kids before the age of 35 do you start trying now? Is McVay the one with a birth during the SB next year? McVay is such an obsessive competitor if he is not coaching in the NFL would he be lost without it?by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com

In January of 2021 Notre Dame football was placed on probation for one year over recruiting violations due to Lyght having impermissible contact with a player at his high school and also sending 10 impermissible text messages to a 2021 recruit before it was allowed under NCAA rules. It was also announced that he was fired from his coaching position at Notre Dame in January of 2020by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
I would wonder if AD would have to pay the signing bonus back if he retired now. No matter how much you have it would be hard to give 21.5 million back, and not make another 55 million that is on the table. The bonus added to those sport trac numbers get to the $26,750,000 for 2022, $23,500,000 for 2023 and $26,250,000 for 2024 Current Contract (Extension, signed 2018) Year Ageby Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
This is an unselfish team. I really hoped for a Super Bowl win with this group. There have been some extremely talented teams that had years of opportunity such as the Warren Moon et al. Oilers, or the Jim Kelly et al. Bills etc. who never won at Super Bowl.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams did everything they could do to win a Superbowl and as is probably always the case they had some good fortune. I love the resilience and fortitude of this team. I am so happy for the team and for all of us.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford has been doing that since training Camp in Irvine. I imagine he did so with the Lions, but that part of his game was not really on my radar. All NFL QBs should look off a Safety, but Stafford takes it to another level. It is like Aaron Rogers ability to get the free play rushing to get the offsides. It's great to have something extra in addition to the other talents (great arm, a great fby Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
I was so glad the Rams did not to have to go to play in Green Bay against Rogers in the snow. I was so glad to deny the 49ers a Superbowl trip. I was so glad not to have to play KC and Mahomes and especially glad not to face Josh Allen and that Buffalo defense. I thought things broke just right for the Rams with the above listed factors. I thought the Rams matched up well with Cinby Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember responding to a post from a poster's daughter a couple years back. I don't remember his handle. She said she wanted to Herd to know he had passed and that the Herd meant a great deal to him. Anyone else remember that post or the poster's handle?by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com

I used to be so eager for Pro Football Weekly or the Sporting News to show up in my mailbox. I remember reading the Rams were going to sign Proehl and thinking it was a good signing. He had played well for the Cardinals. I found the Post-Dispatch Board in the offseason of before the 1998 season. The first post I read was from a Nebraska fan who was writing to say how much Rams fans would like Graby Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com

If Weddle is on a sideline, I hope it is with the Rams. Nolan Cromwell, Kevin Greene, and Ricky Proehl all went onto coaching in the NFL for other teams. (Although Cromwell did make back to the Rams eventually.)by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
Nick Scott was HS QB, then an RB for the first 2 years in college then a Safety. He had12 starts as a senior. He was still learning the position when he came to the Rams. It looks like he has it down now.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
Who knows? Its Rams fan message board speculation. The life of an NFL coach is a grind, especially on McVay's staff. They are millionaires living in Southern California who have nothing left to prove in their careers. They could certainly spend the rest of their time with family and foundations. It would be a wonderful and meaningful existence. But they both have hung onto the NFL game a veryby Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams are losing Evero. McVay has raved about Weddle's knowledge of the game. Whitworth is essentially a player coach now. Rams' Offensive linemen work out with Whitworth in his garage. I heard Whitworth say that he and Havs have been "pouring into" Alaric Jackson.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember being surprised by the signing because as a player what Orlovsky had accomplished on the field did not seem so impressive. I wonder how much having Orlovsky in the Rams QB room mentoring a young QB (Goff) had to do with the signing. Orlovsky like McVay, is cerebral with great knowledge and passion for the game. Maybe it was foreshadowing. Now the Rams have a QB in that vein.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com

It was a block by Blanton on Bosa and he pushed Bosa back what looked like what 5 yards? The Rams were backed up on their own goal line and Sony ran behind it and picked up a nice gain. It was a key play, and I did not see the block during the game. I looked for the clip yesterday online to post it, but I could not find it so, I let it go. I am glad you posted about it.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
Ran a 4.43-second 40-yard dash with 41-inch vertical leap and 10-foot, 8-inch broad jump at the combine. 40 times are overblown but by comparison Fuller ran a 4.67 and Rapp ran a 4.76. Speed/range should help the back end of the defense.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
A 2nd and 1 should be converted. And if the 49ers have a 1st down on the Rams 43-yard line, they should come away with at least a FG. It was a key stop by the Rams defense in the 4th quarter. Weddle's tackle for a loss on 2nd and 1 w/ the 49ers on the Rams 44 was significant. It set up the 3rd and 2 stuff and 49ers 4th quarter punt.by Rams Junkie - RamsFootballFans.com
