I used to be so eager for Pro Football Weekly or the Sporting News to show up in my mailbox. I remember reading the Rams were going to sign Proehl and thinking it was a good signing. He had played well for the Cardinals. I found the Post-Dispatch Board in the offseason of before the 1998 season. The first post I read was from a Nebraska fan who was writing to say how much Rams fans would like Grant Wistrom. I was using the computer at the library.
