I like “favorites” list, and I’m on board with you on candy bars. But no Rice Krispies, marshmallows or s’mores??? Yikes! None of those would be my favorites, but if someone’s offering, I wouldn’t say no. I tend to think of my favorite desserts in terms of where they come from, because I’m actually a picky dessert eater. Definitely not a picky eater in general, though lol. And today’s results helped a lot. Rams have to get better at finishing games and tighten some things up, but otherwise they have as good as chance as any. Especially if they get a corner. That’s a lot of work. Like Rampage said, Newsome and Sneed seem to make the most sense for both teams and I think would cost the Rams the least in draft capital. Don’t know much about Newsome, but it looks like he’s battling a hamstring issue and we already have experience in how tricky hamstring injuries can be. The explanation from the broadcast referee was so silly. To paraphrase, if the ball came out the same time as the hit, then it’s reviewable. But since forward progress “stopped” and whistle was blown, too bad. Seems arbitrary to me. If we can get it right, let’s get it right. After last night. I'm firmly in the "add a CB" group. I realize the d-line did not show up last night (rushing the passer anyways), but sometimes that's just going to happen. Gotta have guys who can stick with their man for at least a little while. Problem is we lack physicality outside. Our CB's have speed and athleticism but if there's a physical receiver? They made all those mistakes and still should've won. Arrrrggh!! That's why I'm not convinced the niners are better. Even if they are roughed up. They're a good team, not denying that. I was fine with them throwing the ball, and I actually thought that's what they'd do. Put the ball in Stafford's hands. Of course, Kyren is deadly in short yardage, and he averaged over 4.5 yards a carry. I don't know, it's all hindsight. Both were self-inflicted. Rams should have won both games. I just don't get why the Rams didn't take away that short middle stuff. They changed their coverage a few times to take the short middle away and that's when the whiners offense stalled. But then they'd go back to what was NOT working. It’s just so typical Rams. Especially coming off a tough win. And it’s the niners with their MASH unit. Might as well be a SWAT unit. The niners are always hurt, but that doesn’t matter. Rams fail to match their execution and intensity too often. I used to hate it, but now I don’t have a problem with it. It sucks, but like a lot of you guys have said, don’t lose the ball. I think usually by game four though you can start to see some teams separating themselves from the pack. Not just wins and losses, but how they're winning or losing. Now, obviously, a team like the Chiefs is probably ranked too low, IMO.
