There are a lot of things that I hope stick around after this is over.
Pick-up/carry-out has to stay. I know it can be a PITA for the employees (I speak from experience) but I also know that it has brought new customers to places they wouldn't normally go because of the hassle.
The six feet thing should become the new 3 feet of personal space. I'm not a touchy-feely person. I don't even necessarily need to shake your hand.
Who came up with such an idea, anyway?
"Hey, let me grip your hand and shake it! This can be like a sign of respect or something!"
Hand shaking probably won't go away, and I'm too polite not to, but someone ought to start a movement.
