But in a way, it was a blessing to hear from him in the final days leading up to his passing. He really was facing this with so much courage...and humor as well. So sorry to hear of his passing though. My thoughts and prayers and sympathies go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. :( Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Awesome post! It just goes to show that no matter what goes down as far disagreements on this that or the other thing -- in the end, we all have each other's back on this forum. Kinda like being one big (perhaps slightly dysfunctional) family. And it is a fantastic place for us to gather and hash out issues on the Rams. (so a big thanks to The Herd admin's here too!) So wherever this teby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for sharing that update with us. It has to be so rough for you and your family. Definitely will pray for him and you during this horrible time. At least he is out of the hospital and around loved ones. Thanks again for updating us. In the meantime...prayers ascending. Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
He was one of those guys I questioned why the Rams would select hm. But he was showing flashes of being a very good player last year. Hopefully he is healthy and can keep progressing. I think he can be a heck of a player in Wade's defense. Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com

That's an awesome animated gif accompanying your post. :) That could very well happen. But I still would be against it. For two reasons: 1) I am not sold on Goff. Either way. I really don't know if he will be good or bad. Last year was pretty much the "perfect storm" of crap that he was dealt his rookie year (bad offensive scheme, bad offensive line, bad receivers, 1st yearby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Miss you all on Sunday's as well. :( And very nice of you to do Signman -- glad to see that awesome Rams stuff has found a great home. Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Announcements are made about the signing of the "camp arms". I think this qualifies as the Rams signing of a camp arm.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Seriously...just full of awe reading that. Just totally incredibly amazing how far you've come in such a relatively short amount of time (probably easy for me to say!) :) Just continue to do what the doctors (and of course your wife!) tell you to do. Really sounds like the very worst is behind you and much better days lie ahead. Thanks so much for checking in and updating us. Great tby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for updating us on Michael's condition. Sounds like he is definitely improving. Probably will be awhile for him to fully recover, but at least it appears he's on the right track. We'll keep the good thoughts and prayers going his direction. Thanks again! Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Am so sorry to hear this! Definitely sending good thoughts/prayers to him for a speedy and full recovery from those injuries! Get well soon, Michael! Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry I missed it yesterday. Hope you indeed had a very fine birthday! And thanks for all the hard work you and your fellow admin's accomplished in bringing this board to life. Happy b-day, ScRAM!by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Nobody truly knows what the end result of the Goff trade up will be. He could be great someday. Who knows? And while I was against trading up to get him, it is still far too early to give up on him too. Talent around him and coaching make a difference Let's see how he does with (hopefully) a better OL and a more offensive minded coaching staff. We'll have a better idea which way thisby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
..that there would be a clause in that broadcasting contract that would allow him to return to football if the right opportunity presented itself. I kinda thought this would happen though. There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest for him (at least for the $$ he would probably want), so it's nice to get paid a decent amount of $$ and not worry about your health. Good for him. You are going to have to make these April Fool's pranks at least somewhat believable. UConn women actually losing. Ha! Nobody is gonna believe that one! ;) Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
I liked him coming out of college as a mid-late round sort of pick. I also liked his toughness and intangibles. Hopefully will excel in Sean McVay's system. Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Great player and a HOF type person as well. Very happy for him and so well deserved. Congratulations, Kurt! Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Guess they will play their games at the 30,000 seat Stubhub Center before the new stadium is ready. Any locals comment on this place? Have never heard of it. How does it compare to the various college stadiums around the LA metro area? Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
I can see why Stan K. would like this. He gets another tenant and more $$ coming in for him. For the Chargers/Spanos, I don't get it. Yes, things are less than desirable in SD. I get that. But you are going to pay $650M in relocation fees and play in a stadium you don't own (and pay rent to someone you really don't care for) with really no fan base to support the team in LA. And play a yeby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
..well, ok, I kinda am. :) That some of the drops could be attributed to the fact he doesn't consistently throw a tight spiral(?) I know professional receivers should catch footballs when they get two hands on them. And it's true the Rams don't have high quality NFL receivers. But typically it is easier to catch a ball thrown with a tight spiral than one that arrives to you like a woundby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
The 49ers may have a really, really bad defense. But the Rams also have a really, really bad offense. Pretty much comes from the top on down. I don't think Boras is a real NFL offensive coordinator. The Rams OL has actually gotten worse from last year. Gurley seems to have lost the burst and acceleration he displayed last season. And the WR corps are just simply bad. Add that all uby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
It is the coaching on the offensive side of the ball that probably is/was his downfall. None of the offensive coordinators he hired were all that impressive to me. And here you have a prized draft choice, someone who you invested all those draft picks to select, and you don't surround him with the best coaching available. I mean, out of all the OC's you could hire, you pick Boras? Really?by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
I always haven't liked the importance of the FG kicker. Players fight and bleed and play for every inch of turf. Only to have the game decided by a guy who has been sitting on the sidelines who has this one ability to kick a football. If anything, this makes the FG kicker of even greater importance. I wish they would have either kept it the way it was, or just said "It's 7 points for aby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
Can't think of really any other reason(s). This was my biggest concern going into the season. You should go "all in" with someone like Goff. Do ALL you can to get the best talent around him. Both in players *and* coaching staff. So get the best OC you can. Who does Fisher get? He looked long and hard around the league and said, "Hey, the best OC I can find is already oby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
...CK being able to move around a bit in the pocket and have a quicker than average ball release? While I don't think the OL's pass protecting has been *horrible* (or at least not the worst in the league by any means), I wonder how much of it has been due to Case being able to avoid some of that pass rush, due to both his mobility and getting rid of the ball quickly? The Rams offense has run so few, well, running plays of late. Why the heck would you put the ball in Keenum's hands and throw it 50+ plus times? It's not like the team was down 30 points in either of their losses lately. Yes, the running game has suffered. But I also think you have stick with it more. ...in my feed(s) anyway is Cleveland is "emphatic" in that Joe Thomas will NOT be traded. Wonder if it's going to be as accurate as the "vote of confidence" thing that coaches receive. ;) Joe C.by brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean, he's easily going to be the best OL on the roster once this trade is made. And would probably make GRob move to G. He still probably has a few years left to play at a high level. But...you already traded premium picks for a QB. And now they (most likely) have traded another premium pick or two for Joe Thomas. Making it even more imperative they hit on the picks that they have remaiby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
A simple phone call wouldn't hurt. You know, have Stan's people talk to Jim's people and just see what possible interest there might be. Doesn't cost anything. At least I think Stan would have a pretty good calling plan. ;) And as far as I know, there is no salary cap when it comes to head coaches. So, you'd think Stan could throw a LOT of $$ Harbaugh's way. And typically Kroenke isnby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
...if they can. Though if I am Donald, I would wait as long as possible to sign. I am sure someone else at the position will get a mega $$ deal, and then Donald could piggy back off that deal. So he really doesn't have a whole lot of incentive to sign an extension now. But if I am the Rams, I would want to extend him now if I possibly could. Definitely would explore talks in that directionby brgjoe - RamsFootballFans.com
