Can't think of really any other reason(s).
This was my biggest concern going into the season. You should go "all in" with someone like Goff. Do ALL you can to get the best talent around him. Both in players *and* coaching staff. So get the best OC you can.
Who does Fisher get? He looked long and hard around the league and said, "Hey, the best OC I can find is already on my (inept offensive) coaching staff! I'll hire this guy Boras!"
And I just was skeptical that this dude can properly both run an NFL offense and also prepare your #1 pick to nurture and develop the QB the Rams invested so much in.
I am still most skeptical of this.
