I always haven't liked the importance of the FG kicker. Players fight and bleed and play for every inch of turf. Only to have the game decided by a guy who has been sitting on the sidelines who has this one ability to kick a football.
If anything, this makes the FG kicker of even greater importance. I wish they would have either kept it the way it was, or just said "It's 7 points for a TD, unless you want to go for the 2 point play".
Oh well. Nobody listens to me anyway.
