Dudes, this is a one-time deal instigated by a cheap-shot Pete Carrol team. It's not like Donald has a history of this stuff. It's not like the McVay Rams have a reputation for getting all huffy about stuff. And frankly, I don't have a problem with our guys sending a message to a chippy division rival. Like someone else pointed out, Britt was still helmeted, too. He was ready to tussle. The fiby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
This is not how our guys act. Not the McVay Rams. Which tells me, the problem lies mostly with the Seahawks... the PETE CARROL Seahawks... the ones who still have a sore rear end because they're no longer the top dogs in the NFC West.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlrams13 I like it This is how rivalries are made Donald will never forget today and we will never look past the Seahags That's what I'm talking about, man. Not only did the scoreboard give us a win, but next season they are going to get our best shot both games. :snickerby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
We got the 'W' and I'm not worried about us doing more of this stuff. I'm really not. So if we punched them back in the mouth for being a bunch of all-talk-no-walk types... got no regrets, man. Didja read McVay's lips on the sidelines when we won the game? Yeah... he might say all the right things in the press conference, but he gets it. Trust me.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
This is not how our guys behave. Seahawks must have really been out of line today.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
You beat Seattle, you have fun with it. That's what I say. :)-D Rams have never been 9-1 in my entire lifetime. So, yeah... not ashamed to be "that guy" who mentions the record. Rah rah! Props to the guy on reddit who postedby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't watch like 95% of the game. I had a tough day in my personal life before the Rams even played. Wasn't in the mood for a heartbreaker. From what I did see (the drive we tied it until the Saints scored the killer TD), and thinking back on the rest of the season, here's a couple quick thoughts. Downsides: - If the defense doesn't figure out how to stop big plays (both running and passinby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com

Folks, in my personal life... I just had a really tough, hard emotional day. When I saw 35-14 I just, "nuh-uh... not today... today has been tough enough." But then I checked in again... 24-35 And the number went up 27-35 And then I noticed it was 4th and 6 for New Orleans. OK... I'll tune in Goff to Cooks. Goff to Kupp, TD!!!! Then Everett for 2! TIE GAME! Aby EternalHorns - Game Time Forum
I could see us losing the #1 seed to New Orleans, only to have them lose at home in the Divisional round. It happens. The Redskins have had a weak schedule, but they've beaten other teams on their level (Carolina, Green Bay) and while they lost to the Saints in the Superdome, that primes them for a perfect revenge game in the playoffs. Or what if Khalil Mack goes crazy on Brees in the playoffs? Yby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm done with Fisher, that's for sure, but any Fisher-led team is good for at least one trap game a year and their chippy play is more likely to result in some injuries for the other team. Keep that crud far away from our division, I say.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteleafnose BTW, also heard Cam Jordan on the air and he's well spoken kid. He thought he has an advantage against the guy he's lining up across from. As I don't know how they play Jordan; Who exactly is it that Cam believes he's beating? I think I heard that he would usually be lining up against Havenstein.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
After a first half stalemate, Rams get permanent momentum toward victory when Cory Littleton gets blocked punt #3.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
How many players on this team have this Rams coaching staff failed to get near full potential out of? And, I know, Peters was mentioned earlier, but he's playing through that calf injury and not 100%. Maybe Troy Hill isn't as good as he could be? Anyone else? And on the other hand, how many guys have exceeded their perceived potential greatly? Here's just a few (for some of these the breakoutby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Given the power of both those offenses, the game was fairly low-scoring. Lots of field goals. Really, the game was punctuated by a few big plays, but mostly it a was meatgrinder of a game. A fair number of those highlights had us getting big plays from deep in our own territory but not finishing those drives with touchdowns. Hopefully, this year, we'll be able to do better than that. I'm definitely not taking it personally if you are. Good discussion. Here's what I saw: a) Cowherd dropped us two spots and put the Saints ahead of us at #1. They have one loss, we don't. They lost to the Bucs of all teams. And PFF says they've had the easiest schedule. Now, all that's debatable, I guess. That's why we talk about it. But I guess I don't understand the logic. b) One of thby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Not only does he have some good moves to get around the blocker, but what I saw in a lot of those was that he didn't just get around the guy, his move put him right into the QB's face. He wasn't doing those long, curving, around-the-back-end sprints where you gotta hope the QB holds onto the ball too long. The fact that he got to Brady twice in the AFC Championship game is what really speaks wellby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 Yeah, it's hard for a rookie that missed all of OTAs, camp and preseason to get up to speed and be a contributor on the 46 man, gameday roster. Fowler went through basically the same ordeal. It will be interesting to see which one of them, if either of them, ends up making any significant impact in the NFL.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteramsfaninmd I am starting to let all the media get to me as some now put the Saints as #1 team in the NFL (Colin Cowherd) and Reggie Bush predicted 350 yards, 4 TD's and 0 INT's for Drew Brees this weekend. I know, I know, that is their job but a lack of respect. So, the media wants me to believe that Aaron Rodgers is the GOAT. And simultaneously they want me to believe that because weby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Despite our little internecine squabbles over this or that little thing, this forum is a place where serious discussion about football takes place. And yes, we're fans who think our team is going to win a lot of the times. But I think the vast majority of people here can give an honest (even if slightly biased) appraisal of our own team. The most optimistic among us can probably at least give a cby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
The incredible arrogance. They apparently have no sense of self-awareness that we're ranked better than them in literally every category other than Run Defense... and they have to try and stop Gurley. Good luck, jerks. We've beaten the Saints in three of our last four meetings against them, and two of those were under Fisherball when we were AWFUL. Really want to send them home with paper bby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Huge come-from-behind victory. Flipper Anderson sets single-game receiving record, 336 yards (ergo my avatar). Kevin Greene had this monster sack (or maybe it was a run stuff?) where he leaps over a Saint like a human missile and plows right into Bobby Hebert (or Hilliard?). Man... good times. I mean, why not trade him to and get something? He's starter-quality at Guard! Yeah, yeah, I know they need to let someone go, but Brown? Man. I'm not much for the MMQB stuff after gameday but this one really has me scratching my head.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
