Only time we might play them again is on "neutral" ground. And the likelihood that the game goes down the same way is very small. Different scores, different dynamics... you never know. If it's Rams vs. Chiefs in the Super Bowl... I still pick the Rams to win and not just because I'm biased. Mahomes couldn't get it done under pressure at the end - with two chances, no less! QuoteLMU93 They lead the league in opposing QB rating, yards/carry and turnovers. Probably a couple other areas too. Their schedule has been extremely favorable.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRinconRam Yeah, but maybe like Fowler last night, you aren't seeing the stats but you are seeing his effects on the play of others (Donald). I thought of that as well, but at a certain salary level you expect the guy to make an impact personally. At a certain dollar amount, they better not just help others but actually have some big-play quality themselves. Suh has made a few this year,by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Look, we just allowed 51 points to the Chiefs. We’ve allowed 282 points through 11 games, do the math. In the last 4 games Rams have allowed 154 points. That is not a misprint. This cannot continue if we hope to go to the SB. All you gotta do is keep winning games. Maybe they aren't all pretty. But so far only one team has been able to best us and that was after we kind of hiby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I always used to hate Berman and Jackson's "All he does??? Catch touchdowns!!!" mantra when Carter was playing. I used to always think, "Yeah, except when the Vikings need to win an NFC Championship..." But this year he's actually become one of my favorite analysts. I like his take more often than not.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
"Captain"? "California"?by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Their opponents combined record is 41-57. The only team they've beaten with a winning record is the Vikings (5-4) and they did it at home 25-20. The only other team they've played with a winning record is the Patriots (7-3) who won 38-31. I don't like having to play at Soldier Field in the winter. That alone is probably worth a few points. But I don't think Chicago is in our league. It's definby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe you could say the same about the Rams, but, hey, we beat the Chiefs, not the other way around. Chiefs haven't just lost to one of those top three, they've also lost to a not-quite-as-elite New England team. I think something like that could happen again. Also, if they have to play the Chargers three times... man is it ever hard to beat a team three times.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it was when The Rams were kicking off, up 16-7 and McFarland says, "If you're Kansas City you gotta be feeling pretty good. The Rams are only up 16-7..." yadda yadda yadda. This is the old Super Bowl 34, "The Titans gotta be thrilled to only be down 9-0" canard. As it turned out, Kansas City was able to flip that lead, but I think if you asked Andy Reid right theby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach for my son...but I can't find one. I'm wondering if they didn't make them because of the AD hold out and weren't certain. Huh... can't you order custom numbers/names? Maybe not with the Color Rush ones? Or it's just an extra annoying expense?by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Seemed as if Wade wanted to keep contain on Mahomes as well as pressuring him. Similar to the Russel Wilson scheming? Not an easy assignment, obviously. Loved that play early on where Fowler did a great job adjusting to Mahomes' shiftiness. It resulted in a short completion to Kelce (I think?), but he showed that he can do the contain job really well. That's a big deal. He also gotby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I actually thought what's-her-face from GMFB made an excellent point that defense now is a little less about stifling the other team all game long and more about the big plays at big moments that change the direction of the game. We've seen that several times this season from our defense and it's made all the difference. Would it be nice if we just strangled everyone? Sure... 10 out of 11 timeby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
My Goff jersey is Color Rush (thanks mom for the gift!!!). I just think they look great on TV. Also, when we wore them against the 9ers someone posted the old-school jersey's they're really imitating, so I love that they're basically a second throw-back jersey, too. Next one will have to be either a Gurley or Donald blue-and-gold.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator You'll be very hard pressed to see another NFL game like that with any other teams. To think last night was our guys. A couple guys on the "talking heads" shows have made the point that when you've got the right personnel and the right coaches, the current rules make high-flying offense almost a foregone conclusion. Now, does that opinion have merit? I dunno. I thinkby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Boy, Skip Bayless does not like complimenting the Rams, does he? Every time I watch segments on this show he finds a way to undercut us. :lol1 Wish they would have had ED on to gloat. Now that would have been fun. Also, Skip's dumbest comment was saying that McVay's got some kind of secret agenda to look smarter than Andy Reid such that he's going to intentionally stop running Gurley. Without Fowler, the Chiefs would easily handle Ebukam and whatever JAG would be on the other side. So his personal stats weren't great, but he made them have to respect the edge and they didn't have enough for all of it.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills they showed him on the sideline starting to unbuckle stuff... and right there I said this dude is so immature. I can't get her to keep her clothes on, either. :lolby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com

So, yes, he was involved in an awkward tackle early in the first quarter. I re-watched the first quarter and he played the rest of that drive and most of the next drive, too. He took a hand-off right after that awkward tackle and ran hard through traffic. Also, in several plays after that awkward tackle they had him split out wide as a receiver. In one of those you can see him clearly give a gby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
