he just thinks that maybe losing AD will be a bigger deal than we may be expecting.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
How likely was that? Will they eventually start together? How confusing will that be?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
That's how I see it. Not sure about Kinchens.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
That's a really interesting take. Ricky Proehl is one of my all-time favorite Rams. He is too often forgotten or went unnoticed during the GSOT era, but his first downs, great hands and overall team play made a bigger difference on those teams than many realize. And of course, his forearm catch in the end zone against a nasty Buccaneers defense was the only thing that got us to the Superby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead learned his lesson when he missed out on Bobby Wagner that if you have a guy you believe in and really want, then you don't get cute. You get him. I think the Rams really locked onto Fiske as soon as Verse dropped to them. I hope they're right. Fiske was on a strong upward surge in the second part of 2023 and in the postseason - hopefully that continues.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
So the work you and Alyo provide, not only doing general player analysis but relating it to a high-level knowledge of the Rams needs and preferences, is invaluable. On draft day, I have your posts at hand and they're the first thing I look at after every pick. Honestly, Jourdan should crib from you guys. (Maybe she already does.) :) You two make the draft so much more fun!by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't say I understand a lot about psychology, or about Les Snead. But I have heard often enough that one of the most important lessons Snead learned was when we moved down and missed out on drafting Bobby Wagner. The ghost of Bobby Wagner is in our draft war room, and when they make the decision that a player is clearly the person that they want and believe in, they are not going to foolby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Whittington is going to surprise us and the NFL. I think he just got lost in the shuffle on a team with LOTS of good #1 receiver types. At the very least, if Kupp or Puka gets hurt, I like the backup. But I won't be shocked if he is a lot more than that.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I would love to get him or Quinn young Mitchellby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
First thing YT offered me when I turned it on.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess we had some good guys back in the early days, but we are definitely not a team knows for its great QBs. Now RBs, there we have struck it rich over and over.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not an expert - just a fan - but Chop gives me vibes of another Robinson with great traits but little production - Greg Robinson.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
And the best way to do that still seems to be film study, and judging a player according to their actual performance and not some vaporous thing called "high ceiling based on potential". In other words, they were so-so in college, and should have been better, but they are freak athletes or some such thing and could be coached up..... maybe.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I had no idea some truly great players were drafted so low!by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Particularly interesting to see the traits of edge rushers they have drafted in the past.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure why, but every year there is one guy who catches my attention and whom I want us to draft, regardless of how little it makes sense. He is from Iowa. Seems like Iowa players often succeed in the NFL. He is super versatile - could be played at either safety or CB. He returns punts and kicks - making him even more versatile. Thrives in zone, which is what we most often play.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Where did you have Kobie Turner last year? We got 1st round production from a 3rd round pick (two really). Hope that's because the FO has figured something out that they can replicate this year, and not just that we got lucky.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
They have nothing to write about, so they write ( or in this case talk) about nothing. And we are so starved for content we get sucked in. I need to take a break until the draft gets underway. (Unless of course, the Rams make more moves.)by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Ferragamo to Waddy as a youth. As an adult it has to be the tackle. I remember where I was standing what I was doing how I was freaking out as the Titans moved methodically down the field. After it happened I just sat there and soaked it in for an hour. I think I was hosting a party I don't remember when people left. I do remember that my ex-wife quietly cleaned up and just let me sit andby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't love it. Too many good players available in the second round.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for the clipsby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd be more inclined to go Edge then DT than the other way around, but it depends on how they like those players. I am nervous about Chop Robinson. We don't need another Greg Robinson who has all the tools but doesn't get production. Not saying this describes Chop, but I am nervous that it would.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
But at least he did lead the lowly Cardinals to the Super Bowl.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't know if "penalties per snap played" is a stat, but if it were I think he would be very high up there. He's got skills. But I worry about his head.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
What a frustrating rookie year. One minute he would make a great play - the next he would do something boneheaded that cost the team. Can we get the first without as much of the 2nd? Or is he a permanent bonehead?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
What a good pickup, at least according to PFF grades.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I know he was a pretty good QB for a few years after he was drafted. But why was he still on his couch last year? I will always love him for leading the defeat of the 49ers last season. But that game - didn't he run more than he threw? For that game, he did what he needed to do to win. But if the running is what makes him good - well - we saw that he won't last more than a few games doingby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe we just hired a high-ceiling TE, after we let the Seahawks pay for that learning curve.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
