It's a negotiation... The team is going to say basically what the fans want to hear. The team doesn't OWE telling us anything, really. I do want to see AD around here for many more years. But, I'd not break the bank on him until the team HAS to. I would like to see them increase his salary some for the next 2 years. Show him some love but don't handcuff the team until it's necessary. Now.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Boring. I'm not saying it was a bad pick, who knows, we can discuss that in a couple of years. What I am saying is that I would have preferred they take a flyer on a guy like Hurst or even Sweat, unless the medicals are just known to be where these guys absolutely are done. I have yet to hear that's the case with either of them. Information about their health, at least publicly, has beenby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

NFL players are our Gladiators. Armed forces are our Warriors. As someone who aspired to be a gladiator and ended up a warrior (I did NOT serve I combat), I see the strong connection. I am thankful for our gladiators but I try to pray daily for our warriors. Love this program and the people involved.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This cracks me up... I brought up Suh 2 weeks ago. 2 replies and both "crapped" on the idea that he'd make the defense better. Where were all of you that now think he'd be a great addition back then? To many "sheep" and not enough "rams", LOL!by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Saw something that the Fins might cut him due to his cap hit on the team. Could you imagine adding him at NT if he would take a reasonable salary to be on a team on the rise. As I recall, he's stayed out of trouble the last few years and while his stats have dwindled over the years, that could certainly be due to Miami not having any other threats and Suh being double and triple teamed. I've already forgotten about the trade because the team went 11-5 and now has a winning culture. The team should not be making any moves just to save face and I don't believe they will. That said, I'd like to have Watkins back at the right price.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
When we read articles about the amazing turn-around of the 2017 Rams, we often see read that the "culture" of the team has changed. We see words like "accountability", "day-to-day improvement", and "we not me". In order for these catch phrases to mean anything, everyone, or most everyone has to buy in to the concepts and the "culture". The 2017by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Just sayin... So far I've bee right on with my prognosticationablity. I'm seeing a few of the Rams and Hawks games differently at this point so I've made a couple of revisions based upon my thoughts on this last day of November, 2017. I don't post a lot and I'm sure many of you will have other views. I'm trying to look at this from a realistic point of view with a young team that's had many thby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Washington, Seattle and Vikes games are 3 of the 4 big games with Dallas being the 4th. These were games that were big for the following reasons: Washington: McVey and team vs. McVey's previous team and a good test against a solid team. Seattle: Obviously a match-up against the kings of the division for the past decade. Vikes: Identical records, divisional leaders, on road in loud stadium.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteHazlet Hacksaw when given time I guess we weren't watching the same game. I'm not against Goff, by any means, but I'm not blind either. If you didn't see several balls come out that were wobblers, even with a reasonably clean pocket, then you just weren't watching it closely. Not trying to call you out on this, but there's no doubt that there were many throws that didn't have an effectiveby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold of the season, then, not so much...very rare. Thought I saw it last week a little but doesn't seem like a big deal when they win. Was really noticeable today, thought.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
These weren't Y.A. Tittle wobblers but man, lots of balls today, and over the season, where it's certainly not a clean spiral. I thought I heard the announcers say that the medical staff had been looking at Goff's shoulder during the game today vs. the Vikes. I am on the Goff bandwagon, but the wobble in the ball today was a bit concerning because it was often and because it does change the vby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSaguaro I agree that the Rams are more likely to lose than win at Minn and at Seattle. But I think they can win at home against the Eagles. And I think the Seahawks will lose on the road at Cardinals this week and also against the Jags. I'd prefer that you are right and I am wrong, for sure.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't post a lot and I'm sure many of you will have other views. I'm trying to look at this from a realistic point of view with a young team that's had many things go its way so far this year. Very few of the Rams players have ever been in a play-off hunt and I think the pressure gets to them a couple of times. I do think that the Vikings game is the key to an 11 wins season vs. a 13 win seasoby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Yup! Wiping away the tears and being so thankful for the health of my children. Athletes ARE role models whether they like it or not. I'm thankful Wentz looks to be a good guy but still want to beat him any time we play him.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteXXXIVwin Dak had a real chance to win it on the last drive. I would have preferred to see McVay give his offense a chance to close out the game. As I recall, they kicked the FG putting them up by 5 with 1:40 on the clock AND the Cowboys had no time-outs left. It was going to take a touchdown to win it for Dallas. I like the call to go up by more than 3 points under those circumstancby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny to all of a sudden think that I'm not worried about the offense putting up at least 21-24 points per game. In years gone by, that would have been enough most times for the D to keep it very tight or come out with a W. Now it's the D that worries me with the switch to the 3-4. I will add one caveat... If the defense can hold the Cowboys to 23 points or less, I think the rams may be aby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I just don't see there being enough cap space next year to keep both AD and SW AND a few of the other free agent guys that the team needs to sign. Last night's game was perhaps the perfect situation to look at what Donald did on the field and what Watkins did on the field and make a decision of which is more impactful as it pertains to winning games. AD was constantly putting pressure on bothby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 They need some good pass rush from those two for this defense to really click in my opinion. Not really... in the 3-4, the DL needs to force the OL to double team at least 1 of them in order to allow the LB's to pressure the QB. Then, the DL needs to set a strong edge to force the running game either inside or WAY outside to allow the LB to make plays. This is exactly why AD is fby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that the DT position in the 3-4 is not nearly as important as it is in the 4-3 and that the rams, AD and AD's agent know that. Based upon that position, AD, his agent and the the Rams management all know he's not likely to be paid, by the Rams, as long as they run a 3-4 scheme, what he could make from another team running a 4-3. That said, AD could still be a disruptive and unique forby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I really think they need to find a legit back up LT. If we have injuries there, Saffold would have to move over and then the team is weaker at both LT and LG. I think we are fine at RB. This young speedy kid (Davis??) always looks the the fastest, shiftiest guy on the field when he's out there. Possible he and Tavon could split the Dunbar role in the office and I think Brown is a fine back-upby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I really want to believe. I have so many years invested into this team. I was born in 1968 and my first memories of this team include James Harris at QB and then Pat Haden. I became a bigtime fan during the late 70's when I was growing up just outside LA-LA land in Simi Valley, CA. Since graduating high school I have lived all over the US and even outside of the country for a short while. Iby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
... I might take a sip. This team has been so screwed up for so long. While I have remained loyal, they have literally hurt my feelings over the years because my thought is that I have cared about wins and losses more than the ownership, management, coaching staff and players. Over the past 3-5 years I have bordered on the edge of changing my loyalties to a team here within FL where I resiby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
So... I have Roku and playon. I have several options to links to watch live sports including the Rams. It's just so hit and miss. Sometimes I can watch and entire game. Other times I can watch one-half or 1/4. Sometimes I get 2 minutes and other times... no working links. Good front offices and reasonable players find a way to allow each to save face. The Rams don't want to be looked at as a team that overpays, pays when they don't have to or will cave if a star player holds out. AD wants to be paid at the top level of his position and has held out in order to show how serious he is. I get both sides. If I'm the Rams... I do NOT break the bank on one playeby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure I agree. A healthy #1 who plays 60% of offensive snaps for 5+ years is better than a guy who plays 90% for 1 or 2 years.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Short and sweet question to all the "herders"... Any chance Rams reduce the number of plays SW runs this year in order to see if they can keep him healthy and productive for 16 games? I think it's a reasonable option based upon previous health issues and sometimes, getting an injury prone guy a full year of health leads to multiple years of good health.
