I guess the Rams really do believe they have a C already on the team that's equal to or better than Blythe. I hope they aren't banking on the C from Stanford.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
There's not going to be a RW for AR trade, ever. The Packers have a QB on the roster that they expect to take over when AR leaves. But, I would be willing to bet that the Packers don't extend AR. After next year, he's gone.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm not sure, but didn't they add a couple of tackles in FA? They can grab some guards in later rounds. I still would have taken Sewell, but I can see where the Bengals are coming from based upon what they've done in FA.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlrams13 Leave it to the whiners to screw up the number 3 pick I so agree. And... this is more of a Russ Wilson type of guy (albeit bigger) that the Rams have figured out how to play. The NFL has figured out they need to play much more of a college style offense and defense (somewhat). It's easy to see that NFL management and coaching staffs have pretty much given up running pro-style offenses. As soon as NCAA football became the financial powerhouse that it is, colleges and universities began to realize that winning games was far more profitable than being a school that gby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan I think I'll stay nice and basic. I won't try to out think the room. Being smart, knowing OLINE is what makes the offense go. I'm going back to my battle cry for this Draft.."Protect Stafford and Score Points!" #57...Radunz T...Makes way to much sense. Honest question... Does how the player performs on his new team play any role in regard to how high the comp. pick is the following year? I mean, if a few of these guys blow it up... Do we end up with 3's and 4's instead of 5's and 6's?by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 Could very well be true. A CB even as high as 57 would not surprise me of the value is there. Certainly you would think somewhere for sure. But to me THE big question to solve is what David Long is or is not. If he is ready and capable of handling a bigger role on defense then the Personally... QuoteRams43 CB was always gonna be part of this year’s draft plan. The potential loss of DW next year alone made that a necessity, so nothing’s changed. About our relative position in our division? Who are you going to get to replace Havs, and play at the same level (whether you think it's good enough or not) for $6M? Is there a $6M per year RT out there that would improve the OL? There would have to be because I don't think there's a better RT on the team than Havs, right now. I don't have a man-crush on Havs but other than 1 year, he's just been solid and sometimes solid needs to be gooby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Ramsey's gonna be here a while. But Williams is likely here for 1 more year unless they pay him next year. And... A smart team might just throw a 1st at the Rams and offer him more than the Rams can. Since the rams don't have many chips to play with. Troy Hill is joining JJ in BrownTown. That leaves some real unproven CBs: - David Long CB. - Donte Deayon CB. - Tyrique McGhee CB. Quoteferragamo79 ugh or any team with a big physical front. The Rams just don't match up well with that. Unless the trickery actually works and/or they can develop and actual screen pass that isn't obvious, I tend to believe they will still get manhandled in those situations. Some BIG names at the center position added to NFC West teams... Mack to the 9ers and Cardinals add Hudson. You have to think the Rams are thinking continuity on the O line vs. adding a well known athlete. I think his players love him... for awhile. But some really dislike him after a short time. He is a bit abrasive when things aren't going well and he tends to wear out his welcome in a short amount of time wherever he coaches. Things worked out perfectly for him this year in regard to Brady wanting to come. And, they may be good for a couple more years, too. If I read things correctly online a few days ago, the dead money for him leaving the team this year is more dead money than any other player in the NFL. It's like $40M or something. It's a shame, but the NFL is slowly turning into the NBA where the players have been allowed to push management selections, coaching selections, personnel, choices and where they insist to play. QuoteRams43 Perhaps Stafford will be able to find success on more deep throws with our current WR’s, which means resources could be invested elsewhere. Stafford is unafraid to throw deep into contested catch situations which puts tremendous stress on secondaries, something that Goff pretty much stopped doing 2 years ago. I would like to see the league and players union allow for each team to have at least 1 player on offense, 1 player on defense and 1 player on special teams, who was drafted by that team or signed as an un-drafted free agent by that team, whose salary only counts 50% against the cap whenever they get a new contract with the same team that drafted them but not including leaving to play with anotheby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

If I didn't think Henderson was a true need for the Rams, I'd be more disappointed that they didn't grab one of the better available guards.
