Tried to get him to join many times. He does read, occasionally. Excellent fan, very knowledgeable. Also an incredible artist. He carves and paints wooden duck decoys and has won many awards. I’ll find some pics and post them on the Pub.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Not when it came out, not now.... and not a chance in hell I'll 'get used to it' and like it in the future. No matter how chastised I am for not liking it I'm never going to like it. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But first... oh sure, I remember the Challenger disaster well. I was watching live here at home. Sputnik.... I was fortunate to have a grade school teacher who was VERY into space exploration; so we were always kept aware of the latest happenings. Hence - I saw the Sputnik mission live. :laughing No, of course I didn't .... but it 'felt' live... in those days. No internet. No satelliteby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
1975.... I can also give you the date. Dec. 21st. How can I do that? It was the day after the Rams beat the Steelers in the Monday Night game 10-3 with a 4th Qtr TD draw by Ron Jaworski. We were there.... one of the best defensive games I've ever seen. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

For me Metamucil works... natural fiber does not. That said... I don't take metamucil on a regular basis, very seldom actually... but if I need help it's the best.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
even though I've mentioned it many times here. Lost everything I had in a house fire back in '91. So yup, that included my LP's... 4 and 8 tracts, all of it. I replaced many of my all time favorites but no where near all the music I had before the fire. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Probably my all time favorite cereal. Hot or Cold. I do prefer Steel Oats, however. And now that I think about it: When I was a kid my grandmother made Cracked Wheat. Add brown sugar, some butter... the best! Similar to Steel Oats but slightly different flavor. I actually like, loved, nearly all hot cereals, (the 3 above were my favorites). But I like(d) Maypo, Malt O Meal, Ralstonby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that would mean the communication satellites used by Starlink, (and other sat's... maybe GPS, Weather, etc), must have some type of 'engine' that can fire a short burst of propellant of some sort that's just enough to degrade it's orbit and send it to it's death entering the atmosphere. It wouldn't take very much at all... probably even the slightest force would degrade the orbit... maybe evby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
were on my backpacking trips. I'd catch the fish then wrap it in foil with some salt, pepper, maybe some lemon juice if I packed any.... then cooked on an open fire. HOWEVER... I can't honestly say fish is better cooked that way, (even though I believe it to be true), BECAUSE.... Everything in the mountains tastes better. On one of my first extended backpacking trips I packed some gby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I can't quote a 'law' but I've read the same. Not sure about 'fuel' as the only "fix", but maybe. I was thinking, for example, of the current Starlink internet satellites (which I use by the way)... I'm not aware if they carry fuel; only using fuel in the rocket to get them into orbit... rockets which, btw, return to earth. But the orbiting satellite itself? I don't know. They mayby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Garbage... in the early days, and perhaps even today, not much consideration was given to the effects of a stray piece of trash here and there..... they didn't envision what space became for us with all the satellites. But also mishaps in space... explosions that sent huge quantities of debris sailing in orbit. Even a penny traveling at 17,000 mph could be catastrophic. Basically space wasby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Ever see those videos of the amount of debris orbiting the earth? You'd swear the earth is blanketed by the debris. And It's a problem that will probably grow worse.... which is why they are working on a type of 'garbage' collection in earth orbit. However... even with all the debris... space is huge... even around the earth.... and impacts are very unlikely. It will happen one day, howeveby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Someplace where you can nearly make port every night. Island to island for eternity... I could 'maybe' handle that. You know, like Jimmy Buffett used to do... only he was airborne.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'll be at the crab social next month unless they cancel it due to the current price of crab. Tonight I'm breaking in my new telescope for basically the first time... with a grandson. I say 'basically' first time because I've had it out a couple of times but viewing was bad and we didn't get to see very much. This is the Gragnani social tonight, my cousins. When I read, hear, or watch film about people who lived their lives basically "at sea" I am impressed and somewhat envious. I think it would have been an amazing life. But again... I can daydream about having lived such a life but I know in my heart I could never have led such a life.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
for the Yellow fin but I think it ranged from 25 miles at the closest and as far as 75 miles. You sleep there and back, unless you're upchucking over the side of the boat that is.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I probably have but I don't remember it if so. I've done a lot of fishing in the ocean but about all you catch is Rock Cod or Lingcod. It's good but I wish there was more variety. I have been out tuna fishing a few times... tuna, yellow fin, is fabulous. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
:laughing Lion Fish... aren't those the fish with 'feathery' looking fins, and brightly colored? Not sure I ever mentioned this... not very proud of it.... but I did dive once. Illegally... I wasn't certified. Those I was with were certified AND had spearguns. They were after catfish. I didn't have a speargun. Frankly... I was terrified. I like smoked foods... as long as it's not overpowering. Just asked sst if you've ever spearfished. I have heard the following but cannot remember where.... there are places you can spearfish and then they will prepare your catch for dining? Someone told me that once.... I think... or maybe I just dreamed it. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'll have to check on that. Can't imagine it's for red meats because of cooking time but who knows? Yeah, you've mentioned you're not a seafood person.... that baffles me. :laughing A guy who probably has gills and doesn't like seafood. That's like a politician who doesn't like graft. You have to be the only diver on planet earth that's doesn't like seafood. Which means... I think...by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Going to a fresh seafood market today - in the big city - Fresno. My granddaughter is going to make "Crab Broil" this evening. So while talking to my son about fish I might pick up today while there and how to cook it he came up with something I've never heard of.. maybe you have? Have some ongoing business with a friend of mine who owns a drum store in Fresno, Ca. And so... been in to his drum store several times since, ohhhh, early December. Oh man, Arkansas, you're my hero. I drove one team in my life... and that was TWO.... much less 4 or 6. I rode 'shotgun' with a Hollywood stuntman once in a scene where he handled 3 teams... 6 horses. I was in awe... the man was finessing the reins with his fingers like a concert pianist. He knew each individual horse and how each would respond! Wow. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
