Probably my all time favorite cereal. Hot or Cold. I do prefer Steel Oats, however. And now that I think about it:
When I was a kid my grandmother made Cracked Wheat. Add brown sugar, some butter... the best! Similar to Steel Oats but slightly different flavor.
I actually like, loved, nearly all hot cereals, (the 3 above were my favorites). But I like(d) Maypo, Malt O Meal, Ralston, Wheatina, Cream of Wheat, Farina.... hmmm, probably missing several. - JamesJM
