That's a new one on me. How does that work? Nope.. I'm the old fashioned type... the same traps I grew up with...although I'm not sure they are any more humane? Yes, it's nearly always quick but it can be harsh. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
certain people cannot taste. Vanilla ice cream.. no flavor to me. Sure, I can taste its sweetness, the sugar... but other than that nothing. don't think I've ever had peanut butter ice cream... gonna have to try that. Although it doesn't really sound like something I'd choose when it comes to ice cream. The flavors of ice cream I absolutely will NOT ever order are, to name a few: Bubbby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
We have 3 rooms that our cats are not allowed to enter. Where they do roam no mice... but where they can't enter... wellllll, this time of year it's bad for mice. My home is in a field so they love the comforts of heat, crumbs on the floor, and making my wife scream and leap on tables. They now sell many 'humane' types of mouse traps. Made so that you can catch and release mice. That's nby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the part about shellfish having the texture of 'slime', I mean. Raw Oysters I can see... they do have a slimy texture... delicious to me but yes, slimy. :laughing However - shrimp? Crab? Lobster? Scallops? don't think I've ever ate any shellfish that I thought had a slimy texture... other than raw oysters, as I said. Of course 'liking them' is different... if you don't you don't. :by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I've been very fortunate, Greg. All three of my grandson's who have graduated, so far, have made the City County All Star Game.... but last night... When Gavin, my second oldest, was told Ashton had made it he was thrilled for him, of course. He said he knew he'd make it, no doubt... but then added: "I wish I could have played in mine". Gavin was selected but the game was canceby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I already know the answer to this but I'm going to ask anyway. All food types to be great, or even good sometime, have to be prepared correctly. I think that applies to fish more than most foods. Poorly prepared fish is not good. Overcooking almost ALWAYS the culprit. So my question is have you tried very well prepared, professionally cooked, fish? But like I said I already know the aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I recognized the title but couldn't quite place it... then opened your post and saw "Don Ameche" and it all came clear. Great movie! My youngest grandson, for whatever reason... probably because he's studying some wars in his history class... is VERY into war movies of late. We are binging war movies... BUT... carefully screened because I think some are just to rough for a 12 yearby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the rules don't make any sense to me. It's more like 'there are no rules so we make some up as we go along'. But that's not the only thing that bothers me.... most people today, nearly all, can't get enough scoring... and want that for football. The NBA is a pretty good example of why I, personally, don't think lots of scoring equates to 'better'. BUT... only fair of me to admit the foby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
county coach from Caruthers called him tonight... Ashton's in the Fresno City County All Star game. Did you say you were going to be at the Crab Dinner Thursday? If so... Ashton "may" be there. He's got a basketball playoff game Wednesday and another Friday if they win... which means practice on Thursday BUT... Ashton think's it's an early practice and he can make the dinner.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the kind with a small baskets, basketballs... then it counts and scores how many baskets you make in various type of games. I have a 22 yr old grandson, a 21 yr old, a 17 yr old, and a 12 year old. I challenge them often. As of now I think I'm 0 and 2,393. I think my hoop shooting days are behind me.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Been on a diet now for .... I don't know how long. Think I started about Jan 3rd.... so a month and a half maybe? I have not cheated once. Daily calorie intake is anywhere from 800 calories to 1100 calories per day. No pasta, no desserts, nothing truly 'fattening' at all. Now comes the Crab Dinner on Thursday night. Bread, Salad, Greens Beans with Bacon, Linguini with Clams, and allby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Oh I'll still watch the championship, always have, but that's it. It just bores me to death. This weekend my grandson's were here, they love the NBA, and we watched the.... I don't know what it's called... the All Star thing where they dance, sing, have competitions... and yes, I was bored... BUT.... have to admit some of what they do is amazing. 3pt shots, for example.... incredible howby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not sure what you mean.... the races aren't PPV. Lot of other stuff is...like special view and stats on their app. As for drivers... well, I know many... but nope, not all. I used to know them all, or at least be somewhat familiar with them...no longer. In the Daytona yesterday I doubt if I knew half the field. Indy is the series that has fallen into oblivion..... sad, too, for me anywby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I would have won $1,300. So I went outside to mope and drown my sorrows. Grandson was standing IN a trailer I have and about ¾ the distance of a full basketball court from the basket and asked how much I'd give him if he made the shot. I said $40. I lost. This Thursday is the annual Dante Club Crab Dinner. Yum yum. My son-in-law had a good idea, and I think a practical one. Of course the Dante Club provides crab aprons for the meal.... but my son-in-law thought we should show up in full, head to toe, paint suits. :laughing 8 of us arriving and sitting at our table in full house painting gear ready to partake in some gluttony. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Living out his retirement. At this point I have no idea what to expect from Tutu. He's like those things in your junk drawer that you cannot bring yourself to toss believing that you just might need it again sometime in the distant future. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
GI Joe came out in 1964... I was too old to have one. Now that I've entered my second childhood, (actually I never left my first but let's not go there), I might pick one up. Actually, just before Christmas it came up in conversation, (I don't remember how or why), that they still make Silly Putty. My daughter told me that. The next day... I had some silly putty. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Almost all I see are Whiner fans. Running, in the auto parts store, in the grocery store, at the doctor, handing me fries at McD's. Yesterday I was buying a car and while the young lady was helping me I struck up a conversation while waiting for some paperwork. The had a large screen TV on the wall, (a bunch of them actually), and I asked if they took off the ads and put on the SB during tby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Interesting place.... not sure it would suit me. :laughing Oh I'd like it, no doubt... but I need some 'land' to explore.... not much there. with unlimited funds, which is coming as soon as I hit the Lotto, I'd definitely visit but until then..... love to try scuba diving but would also want some dense tropical jungle to get lost in. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
All that stone.... I don't get it; how they built them. I know the answer.... "manpower"... but that does not compute for me. It's impossible. Therefore... Aliens built all that stuff.. the pyramids, the rock walls, the castles, everything. I'm convinced. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the last few years have taught me this.... there are a few teams, a handful, that you can expect to be in the race almost every year. After that... It's a coin toss... there is no way to know. Teams you are sure will make a run don't and teams you don't expect do.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Well, that was a bit of over speak... but. I think England, for travelers, is very underrated. Having been there several times I have found England to not only be incredibly beautiful but also fascinating in regards to culture as well. It's different there. I think a lot of people assume they're like us in the USA because of the common language but in my opinion they are very different.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

the topic you just introduced. Where in the world would you, (each of us), like to travel and see. First - there isn't anyplace I would not like to see although because of danger (war) there are several I wouldn't want to visit at this time. But ignoring that, (as I hope we all do).... the places that intrigue me the most change over time, or I should say alternate. At this moment I wouldby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I didn't know Raquel, obviously... but my impression of her was that she lived a very dignified life. A very good person... or so she seemed. Again obviously one of the most beautiful women of all time. And lastly.... 82, but this surprised me... more than I would have expected and I think that's because she is such a staple of my "Hollywood Fandom". - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
