I can't explain it but this injury strikes me as incredible stupidity on behalf of the Eagles HC or coaching staff. This is Pederson's fault. You've got a franchise QB cruising into the playoffs, a top ranked team. Yet you continue to expose your QB to season ending injuries! If he were just some bum QB, or if the season hung on one key play, then it would be understandable. But this? QBsby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I have not seen the game, I've only read a couple reports that say that he was injured running the ball in. Was that a designed QB run play, or did Wentz scramble and didn't have any receivers so he ran it in on his own? I would think that in this day and age, everybody knows that running QBs sooner or later get injured. Why would any coach put his star player in harm's way? Couldn't he havby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you Rock. Seeing how they handled Philly proves that Carroll is a top notch coach. I wonder if great NFL coaches would be excellent military generals.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Cosell was a great announcer! I liked him a lot. Cosell, Gifford, and Meredith set the all time standard. I miss the wit and depth and variety of flavor Cosell was able to bring. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he a lawyer at some point? There have been many excellent announcers. Knowledgeable and talented speakers make the game so much more enjoyable.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Could you guys list the sites where you find all this great info? I'd like to look at it for myself and see what else there is to discover!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Life moves pretty fast. Copy while you can.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I began following the Rams when I was around 13 or so. Had to be the late 60s. My board namesake played for them then. Thank you for bringing back the good ol memories. Wasn't it glorious to see that line crush running backs and QBs? You're right, there was something magical about those colors and the lighting.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Rock, I have to ask you, This metaphor, "assembled a cast of characters in which the only chemistry is the kind that when mixed blows up the lab," did you come up with that yourself or are you borrowing it from somewhere else? It's a nice metaphor.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, what an insult. Keenum has led them to a bunch of victories in a row, and the coach is not sure who to start. I would be very demoralized if I were in Case's shoes.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, very weird article. I get the feeling that this is more tripe from someone who is obligated to turn out articles. Maybe I'm wrong A new coach, a winless team, a new QB. Yeah, no evidence of any growth. "Weird" is a kind word for this type of writing.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Well said James, For the first time in a really long time, I crowed about the Rams today with a co-worker. I couldn't hold back the big ol grin I had bragging about how we blanked AZ. Like James and other posters have said, its hard to shake out the bad memories of horrible loosing seasons. Pavlov's dogs's syndrome I guess. But it does feel good to smile and brag about the Rams now. Far,by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Blue and White Is the only right, Yellow and Blue, Will never do. Blue and White, Elegant with grace, Blue and yellow, such an ugly fellow. Blue and White, Everyone does know Its a thing of beauty, Like Gabriel to Snow.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Glacie, Your point is correct. Take away the 75 yd run and the stats show the Rams held him to under 3 yds per carry. That's very impressive and Wade has to get a big chunk of that credit.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Nah, I wouldn't call it good leadership. Not at all. This is just addressing the obvious. That's average leadership. I'd say he's shown good leadership in bringing to life a dead offense. That has really impressed me. I'd also say that his work with Goff has been outstanding. OTOH, the way he coached the Seattle game left a lot to be desired. We've got a young, above average coach. Nby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
It feels good to predict right. It's sad to see the Rams lose. I'd rather eat crow than have them lose. This is a new team. New head coach, new def. coach, new QB (more or less), several new key players on offense. A new defensive scheme. Many young players. It cannot be expected to perform like a high caliber team. The only good news I see is that our division sucks. As I see it, ouby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, I think you called it right 81. Kudos to you.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
A revitalized Hawks team catches an overconfident Rams team unprepared. They stuff the run and Goff can't overcome. Meanwhile they take advantage of a porous defense.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I really enjoy reading your work and appreciate the time and effort you put in to post it. Thank you. However, I wouldn't call the Seahawks a reeling team.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, such a lovely reference. I was a teen when I read it. Mrs. Hinton smiles.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Amen brother. Death to the gold (and yellow)! Just strong, pointed, simple, elegant: classic, Ram's blue and white. Adding the gold, (or yellow), was like Michael Jackson's remake of the Wizard of Oz, or the Ben Hur remake, simply inferior. It is like asking Pollack to touch up and improve the original Mona Lisa, or Andrew Mayne to re-write Hamlet. It was like Coke changing their formula.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

In my opinion, this game will define the Ram's season, just like last year's first 49er game. Given the situation, that he has offensive talent and that the 49ers suck, this game will define McVey's current strength as a coach: If McVey is a great coach, we win nicely. If he is an average coach, we struggle to win. If he is Fisher's child, we lose. The blades of optimism are breaking tby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I still think I'm the biggest pessimist on this board. However, Max nailed it accurately. The Rams are better than I thought they would be. I have more hope for them after this loss than before the game. I am actually encouraged. Guys, we're going to be ok. Not great, but ok. Right now, the ball is in McVey's hands. If he is a good coach, he re-established confidence and motivationby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Mama, I picked Washington over the Rams 34-17. Somehow your numbers were inverted.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, that is a great and fitting metaphor. Well done!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
You should feel vindicated 43. You have been very optimistic and you've caught some guff for it. So you deserve to feel righteous. I might be the most pessimistic person on this board, but after watching the compressed game, even I felt hope. It feels good. I hope they cook the potatoes like they did the horse meat.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I liked them alot. I'm with RFIP. Now if they could only get rid of that last ugly gold remnant, I'd be so pleased. I always thought the gaudy blue and yellow sucked. Some 3rd grader must of thought up that ugly color scheme. Kinda like cartoon character colors. The blue and whites had class, a regal like quality to them.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
