I have not seen the game, I've only read a couple reports that say that he was injured running the ball in. Was that a designed QB run play, or did Wentz scramble and didn't have any receivers so he ran it in on his own?
I would think that in this day and age, everybody knows that running QBs sooner or later get injured. Why would any coach put his star player in harm's way? Couldn't he have handed off to the RB? It makes no sense.
My gut pheel is that Philly is going to take a step backwards now. Too bad.
