I still think I'm the biggest pessimist on this board. However, Max nailed it accurately. The Rams are better than I thought they would be. I have more hope for them after this loss than before the game. I am actually encouraged.

Right now, the ball is in McVey's hands. If he is a good coach, he re-established confidence and motivation in his team prior to the next game it will prove he has something to offer as a coach. If he fails to get their head on straight, and they lose to SF, then it will prove that he is, at this point, a mediocre coach, with a great amount of room for improvement. Let's see if he is worth his salt. Fisher never had this potential.
