I can't explain it but this injury strikes me as incredible stupidity on behalf of the Eagles HC or coaching staff. This is Pederson's fault. You've got a franchise QB cruising into the playoffs, a top ranked team. Yet you continue to expose your QB to season ending injuries! If he were just some bum QB, or if the season hung on one key play, then it would be understandable. But this?
QBs are going to run, all of them one way or another. But they should be protected. Planning for them to run against defenses that live to cream QBs is just so stupid.
Sorry if I am venting, I like the Eagles a lot, (my #2 team), and I'm dumbfounded as to why a coach would plan for this to happen.
