The retirement of Whitworth at LT has been a crippling loss. His play, consistency, and leadership has been a huge loss to a unit that was barely good enough. Noteboom has been underwhelming. Nobody has even shown the slightest reason for optimism at OLB. Group producing absolutely nothing. The loss of Von Miller has been ENORMOUS imho. After another beatdown courtesy of the 49ers, McVay looked completely different in last night's postgame presser. He looked like a guy that knew he/his team does not have what it needs to beat the 49ers. I do not believe it is capable of being "fixed" this season. Well, I am surprised that ALL of his deep balls are short. Release it sooner!!! He has so many deep underthrown interceptions it is phenomenal. It has been consistent problem all season. Did he do that in Detroit as well? Is he a horrible deep ball thrower?by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com

I know the board is feeling crushed and down after another 49ers loss. I truly believe if the Rams played the 49ers a hundred times, with the current rosters, the Rams may win one or two. 49ers are built to beat the Rams, they are better, they know it and unfortunately the Rams know it as well. Well, I was sitting with a friend (Giants fan) and we both noticed and watched the entire situation intently. I am not overly concerned, but I definitely was not happy about what I witnessed as well. I wanted to bring something to light that I noticed at the game on Sunday. As the game was winding down, I was adamant that the Rams NEEDED to get their defensive starters out of the game. Eventually, they all were except for ONE. TWICE a replacement entered the game only to be waived off by the player. After two failures, McVay called timeout, just to get this guy off the field!!! Bob, thanks to you and your crew for an amazing tailgate that you presented prior to the game!! Everyone, this was a blast to say the least!!! The bloody mary's were amazing! I have 100% total confidence in McVay. I would not change him for ANY coach in the NFL, period. I think he is getting the most out of this team. I am not going to explain all the reasons I believe in him. This offseason will present many different challenges, but there is not anyone else that I would want more leading the charge in these areas. I truly believe the problem stems from the lack of talent and physicality on the OL. As of today, how many of the Rams OL could start on other teams? I think very few. They have no bulk, no tenacity, no strength, and very limited athleticism. They cannot line up and physically beat anyone. Think if they had a good OL. I wasn't really worried, I really did not imagine that they could possibly screw it up as bad as they did!!!! BUT, I was wrong. I am amazed all that time, effort, and money and really could not have come up with WORSE logos. I am VERY skeptical that I am going to hate the uniforms as well. The problem is the Rams are not near, Big, Physical, and Good enough on BOTH LOS. The only good player is Donald. The rest are all basically sub par at this point. Until the Rams get even a mediocre OL, there will be no wining seasons. They will not make playoffs this year and don't deserve to, they are not a playoff caliber football team and have not been all year.
