I have 100% total confidence in McVay. I would not change him for ANY coach in the NFL, period. I think he is getting the most out of this team. I am not going to explain all the reasons I believe in him. This offseason will present many different challenges, but there is not anyone else that I would want more leading the charge in these areas. I truly believe the problem stems from the lack of talent and physicality on the OL. As of today, how many of the Rams OL could start on other teams? I think very few. They have no bulk, no tenacity, no strength, and very limited athleticism. They cannot line up and physically beat anyone. Think if they had a good OL. Well, I visit almost daily, I appreciate everyone's thoughts and viewpoints. Not that anyone cares one iota, but here are mine. I have been a Herd member for a very long time, I just rarely post. I wasn't really worried, I really did not imagine that they could possibly screw it up as bad as they did!!!! BUT, I was wrong. I am amazed all that time, effort, and money and really could not have come up with WORSE logos. I am VERY skeptical that I am going to hate the uniforms as well. The problem is the Rams are not near, Big, Physical, and Good enough on BOTH LOS. The only good player is Donald. The rest are all basically sub par at this point. Until the Rams get even a mediocre OL, there will be no wining seasons. They will not make playoffs this year and don't deserve to, they are not a playoff caliber football team and have not been all year. No reason not to let him get touches and the experience. I don't believe Gurley will ever be near his peak again. Time to see what they have at the position. I would like Kelly to get touches as well. The Rams are not a championship caliber team. Need to see many of the young players get some opportunities the rest of the season. I don't see a beautiful new stadium building passion in the fan base. If season ticket holders are willing to dump tickets for a buck, they will be just as apt to do it in the new stadium, maybe even more so? So, do Ram season ticket holders, buy tickets to make money? It must be season ticket holders selling their tickets to agencies, correct? It just seems EVERY home game has way too many opposing teams fans in the stands. I think you can slice it any way you like, but the bottom line is it reflects poorly on the Los Angeles Rams fan base. I do not believe so. I believe the OL, was not great last year and has drastically regressed this season. Loss of Saffold, regression of Whitworth & Hav. Notebloom and Allen have not even played average. ALL of this adds up to struggle city. PPF has the Rams rated as the worst OL in the NFL. What would it take for the fans in LA to gain a passion for the Rams? Is it even possible? I mean they were in the Super Bowl last year. Is there just too much to do in LA? Is it because the Rams left? I never felt back in the day that LA was passionate about the Rams. I always thought USC was their team. Is this a mistake or has it gotten that vanilla, that it cannot be commented on? From my TV it "looked" like a 49er home game. That is the one drawback I was afraid of the Rams going back to LA. I have been a Rams fan for 48 seasons and I always felt the Rams NEVER had a home field advantage in LA. Ok, we know this season is lost. Let's face it the Rams are undermanned on BOTH LOS. That is the key to football, the trenches. Quite honestly, other than Donald, the Rams don't have much going for them on either LOS. But, I know McVay can coach, he is young, sharp, and will only get better.
