I mean, a $6B stadium and state of the art everything.... and no cheap Radio Shack hand mic so we can hear the bloody questions from the reporter!!!! It's unbelievable to me...and it's been YEARS of this!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

if yer speaking of the NRC PI play. The instant replay doesn't show very well due to the only angle we have...but I think the ball we 4-5feet past the WR and thus when they collided the ref didn't call it due to bang-bang play and ball was already a bit past the WR. just my thots on it....it coulda been called either way. However, the Rams had to make ALL those other plays to get it to OT anby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and led our team in tackles last year. The PS is developmental and players there often take time to develop...I agree, most don't work out...but some do.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
tho your point about playcallign tendencies are very true. "Groupings" allows positive personnel match-ups that may not be possible without specific groupings. IE In a 4 WR set does the defense put in a CB? Safety? or LB???.... to cover that 4th WR?? IF that WR has good blocking skills -as ours do - and they run TGII out of 4WRs bunched formations...TGII would now be runningby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

It's always a little curious to me that the Rams usually add 1 brand new player at the beginning of the year rather than bring up one of their PS guys that have been with them for months. I guess they are VERY curious about Shelton...and are content to keep PS guys on the PS... and put a guy - right off the street - onto the starting 53. interesting. =====================================by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

a 3-4 is primed to use surprise as a real weapon as opposed to a 4-3....but Wade rarely seems to blitz. I guess he doesn't need to cuz of AD...but ya have to keep folks honest and it does look a 4-3 most of the time honestly. On defense ai'd BLITZ more this year...... on offense? I 'd throw deep ONCE every quarter no matter what.... just throw it up cuz the odds are with the offense now moby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
my 2 favs too - Wolford & DAllen... we'll see how it shakes out for Wolford...he's the kinda style of player that I do not usually choose at QB... I like statue, pocket passers with accuracy and arm strength! lol but Wolford's accuracy caught me off guard this PS...and he hung in the pocket much longer than I would think... then threw dimes with guys in his face or rolling out. We'llby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

especially the 4 WR run from bunch sets which would give crazy angles and quik releases for WRs and QB to make quik throws... even spread the WRs out more - ala Detroit's Mouse Davis/Barry Sanders days...and see what can explode. Use McVay's "same look" concepts for all 3 groupings(10,11, 12) so ALL plays look the same just from 3 different groupings...runs, PA passes, etc Thenby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
but this is Thomas' 4th year and will likely be gone....whereas, we had 2 young WRs(Webster & Hodge - we kept one) for the next 3-4yrs on the cheap. However, I must say that McVau knows what he wants from his QB, RB, WRs...and Kromer with his OL. We're in good hands. imo I trust these guys leading our team...hell, when's the last time we could even say that!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
than what I'm seeing. Now, I love those TA type lightening bugs in the open field - which JoJo is a poorman's version of...and CAN be explosive at PR.. but, he is tiny ans gets swallowed up when he's at WR and I worry bout fumbling. Webstser displayed the PR abilities that I thot were fine to replace JoJo and give us a viable WR also. Hodge coulda been kept and developed even more thisby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

...as I'm just a simple fan...as we all are.... and have opinions that are neither here nor there.....just opinions. However, Reader does remind me of Mike Hull from that scouting report...and a bit of that type of player that I'm not a fan of...Lawler, Morgan Fox, JFMeyers, etc types. I just don't like their game - athletically. The staff likes them so that's all that matters. BUt I don'by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Reader was not the intuitive athlete that Allen was and not as active on the field from what little I saw. Now I will defer to the staff who see them everyday...but I'd kinda rather have a player that goes 100mph in the wrong direction than one that goes 50mph and ends in the right spot. Many players get excited and follow instincts when playing rather than the process of the play-call. That'sby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Peterson & Hodge...and Allen were mine too. Reader seemed plodding and was a real stunner to me...Hager has more twitch than Reader and I thot Hager would get cut!!! I'd rather guys go freestyling at full speed than plod their way to the right spot....I just think they're more upside to those athletes. just my thots on the LB situation....but I agree with you...good post!! btw - For theby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

that's a lot of top tier talent...I hope they draft well and the FO can handle it!!! If QB Rosen pans out they could have a real thing to build on down there next 2yrs.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

just kinda average ploders...nuthin flashy nor athletic. I'm sad they scrapped DAllen for Reader and cut CB Peterson. but alas, the coaches know a heck a of a lot more than we do...so, I'll leave it to their discretion. Glad we kept those 3 RBs and not 4 tho...by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Honestly, I didn't see any holes for him to run thru...like, at all!!!! All his carries he had a defender in his face at the mesh point. The few times he had a sliver of room...he slashed his way to decent gaines. The OL was sooo bad in run blocking at times when Henderson was in that I can't think that I can even evaluate his play this PS. Also, EVERY year I always forget just how goodby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
to me anyway... I'd rather keep that spot open for a player at another position that could possibly start (OLB, CB, S, QB, etc)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
He's just stuck behind 3 great WRs...and this is his last year. I'm sure we'll keep him for great depth & possible injuries like last year...it's a wise thing to do. But it's his last year and we won't re-sign him - so we're renting him one more year - whici is fine. Just sayin the Pats kinda do that thing where they trade a player 1yr too early as opposed to 1yr too late...and get a gooby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

and he kept bringing it...even when exhausted he would get in on the clean up of a play. Obo's got a long way to go after missing so much...and I forgot about the player I saw at OK...he reminded me and I'm hopeful he can really continue this year...but if he gets injured again...maybe it'd be best to let him go. Players have to stay healthy to help their team...but as you note, so much about iby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll go ya one more that you won't agree with me, but I'd deal Reynolds for a #2 or #3 pick - if they can get one....and keep Hodge too. Reynolds is GONE after this year anyway...and yes, I love his depth but we have other players that can step in. imo my 4th, 5th, 6th WRs...would be Hodge, Webster, MThomasby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
a bit out of position. When you think about what the Texans had at DL with Watt and Clowney...it shoulda been record-breaking...but wasn't. iirc So, maybe it's best they get the Hawks to spit up a 1st rounder and a huge contract. I hate the Hawks but respect their team very much. ....they can still bite, ya know!! ;) Cards are gonna be interesting...maybe...but we'll know if they wilby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
