and I agree with much of the Clowney mystique...but man, he's quite a specimen and when he gets going and isn't injured... he's a force of the edge even without getting on the stat line. I agree that the price of a trade would lose my interest...so we agree on this. I was just musing...If Fowler plays Ballzout and gets a new contract from the Rams - it'll be close to 20m...and Fowler is no KMaby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I do NOT mean to be making a big play for Wolford...just saying he shined this PS...after shinning in the failed Spring NFL league.... at a position that is unbearably hard to find. I dunno, just my thots on it. Scott did not stand out to me in the least in all the snaps he played and was clearly outplayed by players at other depth positions on defense. I mean, I'd take many players that DIDby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and think Scott is NOT that much better on STs to take a valuable spot on defense that could grow into a starter. I have not seen mch from Scott - like at all - and he's played quite a bit during the PS. .....to lose a guy like Parker over Scott would bother me. But, in the end the staff see these guys everyday and know what they are doin...so, I defer in the end, to their wisdom!!! I gueby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
...finally!!! it only took our beloved team another 15yrs to get good again?!!! I know we ain't taken it fer granted this time neither...we DID our time as Browns fans after the GSOT. btw - I'm hopeful the Factory of Sadness finally has risen from the ashes also...and has a good seaason.... from one desperate/long-enduring, hopelessly committed fan(Rams' fans) to another(Brown's fans)!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Wolford came on late - after the Spring league closed....and has been a bit behind and yet flashed some real grit in his playing ability that I saw in the Spring league watching him. McVay prolly won't keep him...but I think that'd be a mistake as he'd be cheap talent for the next 4yrs at a position of desperate need and would come very cheap with an interesting upside. I agree that I think McVby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I get scared whenever he starts to move around in the pocket as he has reminds me soo much of KWarner...and fumbles the ball and scrambles oddly. imo I just feel so comfortable when protection breaks down with Wolford...BAllen too...as compared to Goff. Now, what Goff does from the pocket is exquisite and makes the Rams offense go...just saying the other / lesser QBs with different skill-sby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
It's great to have Vet at QB when the starter goes down. I'd love that the NFL would allow a 3rd QB that does not count against the 53man roster...so they can develop a 3rd QB since it's SOOOO demanding and time intensive.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
it makes the NFL product that much better as we know that when injuries hit...and the backups are forced to play the NFL product is worse. Simply allowing another 10 players per roster + 10 PS would really help keep the quality of the play up as it would allow teams to really work with their young talent since the NFL cannot make a Spring league to save it's life for all these players to developby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
were amazingly accurate....really. His passing ability is why I'm saying this about Wolford. Wolford throws a ropey- tight spiral and has just enough loft to get there in a hurry (I'm a fan of that type/style of throw as it gets the ball to the WR faster so he can make a RAC move or protect himself from the hit). Wolford's passing accuracy has me very curious about him. btw - Wolford demonsby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and sit and learn all year. The kid has "it"...but is undersized, blah, blah...he just makes plays!! He threw great balls and had two drops. iirc QB talent is different than other positions...it's just so rare to even have someone who can consistently make plays. I'll bet the Saints pick Wolford up and he shines for them in that offense behind Brees. Also, about some other playby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Wolford, Hodge & Webster...no on JoJo.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
If we cut him and the Saints pick him up??? Watchout! He'd thrive in that system...hell I think he'll thrive in our system. Of all 4 QBs we have...only Goff isn't mobile...like the others are. McVay likes to have that mobility for when things break down..and Goff does NOT have it. I'd keep Wolford as the 3rd QB right now. He throws a great ball and stays in the pocket till the last moment..by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

is just that....selfish. I love to watch the game and the beauty & violence of it. As a fan, I pay very little for this spectacle. As players, the price is much higher. Players come & go every year and they play with their bodies...and get paid lotsa money for the exchange (I wish soldiers were paid the same!). The NFL uses players and spits them out to be replaced by the next geneby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
the 3 backup QBs are all highly mobile - which *can* really help against a porous OL.....sometimes. ;) Bortles, Allen & Wolford showed out with very good escapability and movement skills throwing on the run and buying time. Ballen has really stepped up and is throwing the ball the way I had hoped & saw at times in his career....but he still throws unnecessarily hard sometimes and musby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
it must be another issue...or a cost/value thing that Flores couldn't reckon with. I dunno, but TMac- appears - to have played solidly with those numbers. TMac will find work soon I bet...maybe with the Jets and GWilliams again.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
that'd be really fun for bragging rights to the area or state. If players were paid more/compensated for any additional regular season games....I don't see why they'd be against that. Players don't seem to mind the ProBowl cuz they get paid for it and the ProBowl is completely unnecessary!!! They'll work it out in the new CBA...and the owners would be fools to not make it financially worth tby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Allen will be the one who beats Hager out after a few games. Kiser & Lawler go on IR. imo Howard is a safety/hybrid in the mold of Littleton. imo Allen is a bigger dude and will be that run stopper Kiser was supposed to be. Allen is every bit of Hager just younger & cheaper. imo Reeder is a plodder. imo We have some interesting young LBs (Allen, Patrick, Carroway, Durhby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I like to root for young rookies, UDFAs, etc from my fav team and watch them get reps....wether it's a new league or even just using the PS 4 game to do it. I just don't want my staters getting hurt before games count.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm against the PS for the playing of starters...however, I DO hope they use the PS for rookies, UDFAs, etc and to let talent get some reps that they would not get otherwise. I'm starting to think of it like it's own league/season of 4 games. It's fun to watch young talent rise or fall during the PS. Otherwise, I'd lose the PS completely...but I'm liking watching the rookies, UDFAs playby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

a player can make his muscles so much stronger with the extra focus and thus can come out testing BETTER than before. It's the rehab that is the difference...it's very very grueling work on the player's part but iof they commit to the rehabb they have a good chance at being as good or slightly better - muscularly speaking - than before...the joint not so much...but the surrounding muscle is whatby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLMU93I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Hodge and Webster as the WR5 and WR6, respectively. I think Thomas is a very good WR...but seems constantly injured...and it's his 4th yr. I think Hodge & Webster offer more than Natson as a WR and Webster could be a safe PR. I just think I'd go with the youth/talent ratio of Hodge & Webster over Thomas (same with Hager on defense in tby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

and they/Rams staff like what Fowler has done...then I'd pass and try and resign Fowler. Fowler is younger and not as injured...but is relatively unproven however Fowler does look promising... tho maybe not the athletic freak(size/speed specimen) that Clowney is. okay...I change my mind... I will NOT make the trade for Clowney...and I'm going to roll the dice on Fowler and resigning him ifby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
the Rams had negotiated a deal with Clowney's agents and agreed to a deal beforehand...I'd consider trading a #1 for Clowney. I think he's had injury problems and is 27...but is proven. imo I wonder if it'd be feasbile to have 2 - 20m defenders? I dunno...but Clowney IS talented when healthy. I think I'd rather lose Peters and have a super pass rusher opposite AD.. Then again, I'd sure lby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
